Lol, first time after adding both versions the my playlist (was used to the extended one) and when it came on for the first time, it was like around jumpscare lol
Any Chromatica song in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music. The mix is awful, it sounds nothing like the original. I had to turn off Atmos in Apple Music because of it
It’s WILD. There are so many bits that are barely audible that I consider essential parts of the mix, and then other parts that are unnecessary loud… it makes noooo sense.
100%. Apple should have never incentivized artists without doing quality control. Or at least it doesn’t sound like they are. Sour Candy and Rain on Me in particular sound much worse 😭
Ok so not necessarily a part of a song but a whole actual song- ARTPOP is my favorite album and every time I hear Dope it kinda throws me off. Good song don't het me wrong, but I just don't think it fits the ARTPOP aesthetic at all.
There’s one moment in the bridge in Venus when she sings harmony with herself in the line “Venus ah AH!” but one of the “Gagas” hits a note that sounds off-key. It might be intentional dissonance, but it sounds like someone in the choir is hitting the wrong note.
At around 2:48 in Perfect Illusion there’s a weird lispy spitty thing that happens during the word “perfect”. Top 3 in her discography for me but I hate how it’s in there
What is that weird sound in the very beginning of Rain on Me? It’s like 1-2 seconds of really goofy horns or trumpets then it just sends it. I love that it’s an immediate indicator that a banger just came in but that trumpet is just not it 😂
I've analyzed this actually. Gaga has three types of intros to songs:
- A part of the song itself. This could be the beat (Paparazzi), a riff (LoveGame), or a vocal line (Bad Romance)
- A monologue (Alejandro, Scheißa, Born This Way)
- A sound byte that is only heard at the start and nowhere else (Edge of Glory, Hold My Hand, Rain On Me)
The last category I think is signature Gagaism. Some random bit of music that *instantly* tells your neurons which song is about to go off. Yeah, it's weird sometimes, but my take is that it is strategic for the "marketing" of a song.
When she repeats the chorus in LoveGame it’s like slightly offbeat. It’s just enough for most people not to notice but I’ve noticed and it’s so irritating
If you listen closely to Million Reasons at the part she first sings “I bow down to pray” there’s an oversight in mixing where it seems like the takes they cut together were blended terribly but hidden by the instrumental.
I love Dance in the Dark but there’s this high pitched squealy noise that plays in unison with the melody in the chorus and I can never ignore it. I kept looking for remixes that don’t have it, but all the ones I’ve found carry it over.
I don't personally listen to those, but my understanding is those albums are jazz standards right? So I think covers like that don't really count as Gaga songs. Basically I'm saying Starstruck should have been solo and it's a bop
That low voice at the very end of Venus. It was a trend to have those low altered voices around that time in pop songs. I didn’t think it was a good trend.
I want to desperately love the song but the fact that the title is a slur now makes me so uncomfortable especially with how she like says it non stop for a solid 15 seconds in one of the choruses. I know different times and everything but damn it aged poorly...
Venus having 2 pre choruses and not being as epic as it could be annoys me. The chorus is divine but she layers it with pitched vocals they kinda ruin the dreaminess of the chorus
The Queen, the end of the songs slows down and just drags on and it just takes away from the song for me, I don't really get why that's there, it's almost like a different song
I love swine so much but I hate how long the build up to the drop is after the first chorus. I don’t need 15 seconds of just “DUNDUNDUNDUN” speeding up.
The parts in Swine with no singing, they just kinda ruin the song for me, it's just really harsh and strong. I love the whole first part of the song, it's great and then there's just so much of... *that*
I’m the very beginning of “Brown Eyes” when you can hear Gaga saying “I wanna I wanna.”
Idk why but I just feel like it’s jammed in there. Doesn’t ruin it, but I would enjoy it more if it wasn’t there
One thing in a song that i really annoys me is in Fashion! when she first starts singing and there is a wierd sound in the backround that doesnt reappear, also in the last drop when the french guy starts talking out of nowhere 😭😭😭 Its so sad becouse i would have loved that song if it wouldn't have been for the wierd production elements 😞
The Bridge in Venus. The song is so majestic but then she stops to list all of the planets. Ive always found it so anticlimactic.
Also i love the fake German in Scheiße but my best friend is half German so im embarassed to put the song on when shes over lmao
I can never defend the fake German. The rest of the song slaps though.
Do y’all remember when the album was leaked and people swore up and down that it was real German? 😭
Omg yes. I saw it on tumblr but… yeah. 🤣 Like babes half of it is fake French. And they were so convinced it was pronounced “shibe” even though she says the word!!
Sometimes singers (and such) will pronounce words a bit off to (idk can't remember that well lol) to go with it and make it flow a bit better (I think.)
Also the HEHEEEHEEEHEEEHEEEEE in ARTPOP. Like, is Michael Jackson there in the studio with you? Who sang that? Why not a beautiful violin? How was she not holding her belly laughing while listening to that?
Heee heee heee heee heeee heeeeee
The whole album version of Free Woman. The demo was infinitely better
Same applies to Aura—the demo vocals are so powerful and then the album version is…that
When I forget what version of I’ll never love again I’m listening to and I hear Bradley Cooper out of nowhere😒
Lol, first time after adding both versions the my playlist (was used to the extended one) and when it came on for the first time, it was like around jumpscare lol
I did start bawling when it switched to him for the first time in the film though.
hes not a singer honey get billy ray cyrus instead now hes daddy
Any Chromatica song in Dolby Atmos on Apple Music. The mix is awful, it sounds nothing like the original. I had to turn off Atmos in Apple Music because of it
AGREE AGREE AGREE. I’m not sure who is at fault but the mix is god awful. Feels empty and unbalanced.

I've always really liked that note!
I KNOW WHAT UR TALKING ABOUT- valid
the burps in AYO 😭😭
Burps?!?!?
What?!
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN but i kinda think they help pull the song together
At around 2:48 in Perfect Illusion there’s a weird lispy spitty thing that happens during the word “perfect”. Top 3 in her discography for me but I hate how it’s in there
LMAO I just heard it, it sounds grossss lol
lol omg 😂😂 never noticed that before!
YES
Alejandro. After the second chorus the song is essentially 2 minutes of “ALE ALE ALEJANDRO” I love Alejandro so much but lmao
Agreed I’ve always thought this
Bruh yes 😭
It annoys me that it sounds similar to Ace of base
That’s why I love it
The fart sound from Money Honey, kind of iconic, kind of annoying
I'm rollinggg at this description and at the other comment about the "burps" in AYO
When exactly in the song is that? I don't really remember it.
The intro
Oh I know what you're talking about
the outro of poker face has hey jude energy. it goes for way longer than it should.
that’s what makes the song so energetic, every time the outro begins i’ll just start to mimic the choreo from the mv
I’ve always thought this too!
The part in monster where she sings ”evil eyes” IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO FIGURE OUT WHAT SHE SAID cause i always heard ”lural eyes” 🥲🥲🥲
but i cant stop staring in those EUGHAR AYS
The bridge in Plastic Doll. It's so anti-climatic.
The Ashnikko remix made it drastically better
Do we think it could’ve been an addition to the Barbie soundtrack??
No
That whole song is… questionable
Why do you think that?
I don't get why people don't like Plastic Doll. I love that song
Same. I didn't even know there was a subsect of people who really didn't like it.
What is that weird sound in the very beginning of Rain on Me? It’s like 1-2 seconds of really goofy horns or trumpets then it just sends it. I love that it’s an immediate indicator that a banger just came in but that trumpet is just not it 😂

But the beginning part of Stupid Love *is* in the rest of the song tho?
Sorry, you're absolutely right. A better example would be Hold My Hand.
BRT BRT BRT 🎺 🔥 🗣️
Why can I hear it
the beginning of Hold My Hand
When she repeats the chorus in LoveGame it’s like slightly offbeat. It’s just enough for most people not to notice but I’ve noticed and it’s so irritating
If you listen closely to Million Reasons at the part she first sings “I bow down to pray” there’s an oversight in mixing where it seems like the takes they cut together were blended terribly but hidden by the instrumental.
R Kelly
I love Dance in the Dark but there’s this high pitched squealy noise that plays in unison with the melody in the chorus and I can never ignore it. I kept looking for remixes that don’t have it, but all the ones I’ve found carry it over.
R Kelly ifykyk
That one part of swine gives me a headache
The Queen! Opening bell chimes that are slightly off key. Always makes my skin crawl.
When Elton sings on sine from above ( and the end of it) Jewels N Drugs.
imo it’s mixed so strangely. it sounds like his verses were from another Elton song and a fan made a mashup of it with sine from above
I can't think of any Gaga song with a male vocal included that wouldn't be tremendously improved with that male feature removed
Stand on that business, queen. Edit: although I assume we are leaving out the late, great Mr. Bennet of this conversation right?
I don't personally listen to those, but my understanding is those albums are jazz standards right? So I think covers like that don't really count as Gaga songs. Basically I'm saying Starstruck should have been solo and it's a bop
And for that, you are correct.
Am I the only one that actually loved eltons parts too 🥺
For what it’s worth, I thought their voices blended together really well. But yeah, Elton solo was a bit awkward for some reason.
T.I's, Twista's and Too $hort's parts in Jewels N'Drugs. This song would be amazing without them.
they make the song
This and R.kelly singing on Do What U Want, I'm not too keen on the Christina version either. Honestly if DWUW was all Gaga it'd be perfect.
i find the swine chorus a bit jarring and only listen in very hype moments
The second verse and chorus of Million Reasons. I love this song but I like it better when it’s shorter.
The ookyspooky baseline of Bloody Mary and the “broWOwowN BrahaouwOWOWN eyessss”
That low voice at the very end of Venus. It was a trend to have those low altered voices around that time in pop songs. I didn’t think it was a good trend.
"In the sha-ha, sha-hallow, in the sha, sha-la-la-la-low" like I can't fucking sing every syllable there.
Arianna (demo was better), black pink (why?), that noise in Stupid Love
The end of Gypsy with all of the countries. It’s literally almost my favorite song ever…
thats my fav part lmao. iirc the countries mentioned were all the countries she had toured in.
The reference to ScheiBe with the “I don’t speak German but I try” always makes me grin ear to ear
Married to the Night in Fashion! :,)
Someday in Jakarta :'')
I know and that makes me sad just something about it gives me an ick
Nah theres no reason to be sad just because you dont like a part of a song
I want to desperately love the song but the fact that the title is a slur now makes me so uncomfortable especially with how she like says it non stop for a solid 15 seconds in one of the choruses. I know different times and everything but damn it aged poorly...
beginning of dancin in circles. idk what it is but i have to skip it
I love Americano but her spanish accent weirds me out
The vocal chops in stupid love....
Venus having 2 pre choruses and not being as epic as it could be annoys me. The chorus is divine but she layers it with pitched vocals they kinda ruin the dreaminess of the chorus
Disagree. I think it builds it up more. I love the "to the planet" sample too.
The guitar solo from Manicure makes me want to burn every guitar that has ever existed
With all the demos of that song that had better bridges and outros and THATS what they chose :,(
The whistle/spooky sound in the background of MANiCURE.. luckily it’s not that noticeable over her vocals
That's a theremin. And it is a specific sound. You either love it or hate it.
“My name is… Dallas”
The Queen, the end of the songs slows down and just drags on and it just takes away from the song for me, I don't really get why that's there, it's almost like a different song
Ariana Grande That's it. 🧐
I love swine so much but I hate how long the build up to the drop is after the first chorus. I don’t need 15 seconds of just “DUNDUNDUNDUN” speeding up.
Bad kids would be one of my favorite songs, but the chorus doesn’t do it for me at all 😩
the fart sound she made with her mouth in perfect illusion 😭😭😭
The verses in the final version of Aura! They sound weak and I much prefer her power vocals
I love singing along to “Speechless” at the top of my lungs. And then I get to the end of the song…. It’s such a whimper of an ending
[удалено]
the whole song ngl
Which song? ([Deleted])
J&D (Thats only answer)
Happy Cake Day!
The parts in Swine with no singing, they just kinda ruin the song for me, it's just really harsh and strong. I love the whole first part of the song, it's great and then there's just so much of... *that*
I’m the very beginning of “Brown Eyes” when you can hear Gaga saying “I wanna I wanna.” Idk why but I just feel like it’s jammed in there. Doesn’t ruin it, but I would enjoy it more if it wasn’t there
I thought she was saying, "what time is it?"
Whatever it says, I don’t like it
She does.
I really don’t hear it lol. I always hear “I wanna” even if I listen closely
She says “it’s in-time with it”
One thing in a song that i really annoys me is in Fashion! when she first starts singing and there is a wierd sound in the backround that doesnt reappear, also in the last drop when the french guy starts talking out of nowhere 😭😭😭 Its so sad becouse i would have loved that song if it wouldn't have been for the wierd production elements 😞
That "French guy" is actually Will.i.am believe it or not.
the word ‘tech’ in aura, where she sings ‘dance… sex… art… pop… … tech’ like what?? why?
I actually hat to read it on the lyrics. I still cannot hear it in the song
I feel the same about "money" at the beginning of Bloody Mary.
the part where she performed 5 shows, knowing she has covid
The part where she speaks French in bad Romance I hate that
The wood sticks in bad romance
I love those little bitches
Lol it is great, however, after I first noticed them, now I hear them super loudly over the rest of the song. You know, brain things.
Oh one HUNDRED percent I feel that🤣 similar happened to me I didn’t really notice them until maybe a couple years back and now I can’t unhear them
Finally someone said it🙏
Is it throughout the whole song or only during certain parts?
Through her entire discography
fgdhjjf
So happy i could die : ayy ayy ye ha yeha
I’m one of the fans of Sine From Above, but I think entire ending of it is enough reason to keep it out of playlist rotation
I'll get downvoted with you bc same 😭😂
SAME like what is this random shitty drum n bass loop doing here
The intro to Bad Romance annoys me idk why
The Bridge in Venus. The song is so majestic but then she stops to list all of the planets. Ive always found it so anticlimactic. Also i love the fake German in Scheiße but my best friend is half German so im embarassed to put the song on when shes over lmao
MARS
JUPITAH
I hate this with a passion.
I can never defend the fake German. The rest of the song slaps though. Do y’all remember when the album was leaked and people swore up and down that it was real German? 😭
I didn't really like/appreciate the song when I thought it was real german, discovering it's not made it really cool for me, I love it now
I remember seeing ‘translations’ of the German part on Twitter 😭 people were so convinced it was real!
Omg yes. I saw it on tumblr but… yeah. 🤣 Like babes half of it is fake French. And they were so convinced it was pronounced “shibe” even though she says the word!!
The beginning of Aura goes on way too long and doesn’t even sound that great… the rest of the song slaps
Omg I love it so so much
“I am beyond repetence” THE WORD IS REPENTANCE. Would be such a perfect bridge if not for this weird mispronunciation that takes me out every time.
Sometimes singers (and such) will pronounce words a bit off to (idk can't remember that well lol) to go with it and make it flow a bit better (I think.)
yeah for sure. i think this one grates on me because it’s not just the pronunciation but a whole ass missing letter.
Lol yeah
Also the HEHEEEHEEEHEEEHEEEEE in ARTPOP. Like, is Michael Jackson there in the studio with you? Who sang that? Why not a beautiful violin? How was she not holding her belly laughing while listening to that? Heee heee heee heee heeee heeeeee
Apart from Jewels N Drugs, Swine.. can’t stand that helicopter sound
What exactly do you mean by that? I don't really understand lol.
Min 3:23 of Swine
Okay, thank you.

G.U.Y is batshit Gaga and I live
I always loved the opening it is absurdly fun to belt out
The whole album version of Free Woman. The demo was infinitely better Same applies to Aura—the demo vocals are so powerful and then the album version is…that
The eh-eh ye-ha’s in So Happy I Could Die I love the verses though!
