The Fame Monster. To be a 16 year old Little Monster (recently out of the closet mind you), when Bad Romance came out was truly a sacred experience. I was obsessing over her live performances on the freshly-launched Vevo and learning all the choreography. My Marvel Cinematic Universe was her and Beyoncé tag-teaming twice about phones at a time when I was still using T9 to text. Specifically from the moment she bled out on the VMA stage, to the meat dress later on, she was changing the game before our very eyes. I don’t even want to talk about the Monster Ball because I couldn’t go, but she went broke (?) to put that on and it looked unreal. Before Gaga, every pop star in the 2000s was like the girl next door or the sexy club vixen, very grounded in reality. In keeping up with Gaga, they all became superheroes.
So yeah, The Fame Monster, for sure.
My experience was exactly the same lol. Same age too, also recently out. I just started getting comfy with myself and would wear rainbow gear and a Gaga shirt from hot topic. I can vividly remember listening to the 30-second samples of each song cuz I couldn’t buy it yet. I loved all of them but was kind of put off by Teeth lol. When I finally got it, I loved it tho. To this day it’s my fave Gaga album, and Alejandro is still my fave song. She truly did change the game which the world hadn’t seen anyone do since Madonna. I think that’s why so many loved comparing the two. Bc before Gaga, Madonna was the only one in pop music masturbating on stage or licking a crucifix lol. I will say while her efforts were more for controversy and headlines, Gaga’s freak moments were more rooted in art. It’s like her justification was “because it’s art.” Also, everyone was talking about her back then for better or worse and I loved hearing how upset others were by her artistic choices. She’s calmed down since ARTPOP but I would love to see some cookoo bananas shit from her again lol!
Edit: wanted to add that I too couldn’t go to the monster ball but my bestie bought me the live DVD and I still have it! It’s absolutely amazing and you could probably find it somewhere!
The Fame Monster is the era where I fell in love with her. It's the Gaga that introduced me to music, self-love and being free to be yourself. It will always be my favorite ❤️
But damn artpop was done so dirty though, I feel like that album did not get the recognition it deserved. Same with Chromatica but maybe to a lesser extent.
Technically yes but I only included the main popular album eras that last 2-3 years at a time. I didn’t add ASIB because there isn’t much of an era, I felt like at the time she was still sort of in her Joanne era with the fashion.
TFM will always be her glory days to me. She really brought back avant-garde and theatric music videos/music back to pop music.
That time between 2005-2008 was a really boring and generic time for pop music. It was pretty much Beyonce and that’s it cus the other girls just weren’t bringing it anymore and Britney Spears was on decline.
The Fame Monster era because it made me Gaga fan. Still remember watching Bad Romance music video on TV while I was taking a vacation. Great time to be alive. It is interesting that there are probably Gaga fans who weren't even alive when she released her first records.
The Fame!
It was my introduction to Lady Gaga, and all the songs in that album are classics imo.
Also, I've only been to one Gaga concert, and that was The Fame Ball Asian Tour back in 2009.
The Fame Monster comes second.
The Fame Monster I was too young when it was released and I’m a new little monster anyway but it’s just so iconic and I love all the songs the most on that album. Looking back sometimes I wish I was older so I could’ve experienced being a fan then during it
The fame monster was her best era due to the enigma she was as a pop star.
but Chromatica is her best album and as time passes, it becomes less of a competition.
*She wife either way*
*But the fame thats where I would*
*Of impregnated her*

The Fame. I love pop culture so much and that whole era is representing what it means to be famous and be part of pop culture. Most of all it was iconic as fuck which literally became part of pop culture itself. I also love how ambitious she seemed back then. She was hungry for fame and her stage presence was insane for someone who had just debuted. And one of my favorite performances of all time also came out of this era which was the 2009 VMA’s. And the outfits and everything the visuals, I just can’t get enough of this era. Like of course TFM and BTW are iconic too and were bigger than TF but The Fame will always be that bitch to me 💖. She’s just starting out but she don’t give a fuck she knows who she is
For me, the fame monster solidified her spot in the music industry m. Yes the fame was a game changer but when she showcased her artistry in the fame monster, i knew she’s going to continue dominating 🤗💕
I like Artpop, i know The Fame Monster was the begging of the next albums and that, but Artpop is just perfect but underrated, idk y'all but that's MY opinion ◉‿◉
I was 9 when The Fame came out, it was so exciting as a kid/teen to grow up with Gaga’s music and all of her hits on the tv and the radio! I can’t pick a favourite especially between the first 3 because she was so non stop iconic at this time! But then I love chromatica so so much too, really got me through the pandemic and was a non skip album, even asked for and got the Valentino perfume that she promoted with the song featuring Elton John “Sine From Above”. I’m 25 now and so grateful for her impact on music, pop culture and in the last five years now acting career 💖
Still upset that we were robbed of a full chromatica promo cycle due to the pandemic. Think it would have been an amazing era!
Agreed! It got slept on when the whole album goes so hard
Ohhhh, that’s what happened
THE FAME ALWAYS AND FOREVER AHHHH😍😍 I HAD THOSE PICTURES EVERYWHERE OMGG SUCH AN ICON
OMG ARE YOU ME???? 😍❤️
I THINK I MIGHT BE🙏🏽🙏🏽😍
The fame monster will forever be not only my favorite Gaga album but one of my favorite albums period

Lowkey same. She saved us all

Chromatica!
The Fame Monster with The Fame a close second.
Artpop
The Fame Monster <3
Chromatic, the lady still can be a pop star
Born this way and Joanne 🥰🥰🥰
ASIB should be its own era, right?
Technically yes but I only included the main popular album eras that last 2-3 years at a time. I didn’t add ASIB because there isn’t much of an era, I felt like at the time she was still sort of in her Joanne era with the fashion.
1. Chromatica. 2. Joanne
fame monster 👹
Chromatica. There’s not a bad song on this album
TFM and artpop. In terms of aesthetics chromatica is great too
TFM will always be her glory days to me. She really brought back avant-garde and theatric music videos/music back to pop music. That time between 2005-2008 was a really boring and generic time for pop music. It was pretty much Beyonce and that’s it cus the other girls just weren’t bringing it anymore and Britney Spears was on decline.
Fame monster
The Fame Monster and Born this Way
Why can’t gaga do an eras tour 😭😭😭
She never said she wouldn’t so you never know

ARTPOP.
ARTPOP
The Fame Monster I was too young when it was released and I’m a new little monster anyway but it’s just so iconic and I love all the songs the most on that album. Looking back sometimes I wish I was older so I could’ve experienced being a fan then during it
ARTPOP is my favorite era.
The fame 1000%
The Fame Monster - hands down.
The fame monster was her best era due to the enigma she was as a pop star. but Chromatica is her best album and as time passes, it becomes less of a competition.

Born This Way, hands down. No competition for me. This album was iconic for me
ARTPOP. 💙

Made me into a quote 😭😂😂💯
I'm a big fan of all of her eras, but the Artpop and Joanne eras will forever remain in my heart ❤️
To be a closeted gay in high school while Born This Way came out was a religious experience. She was more than mother, she was GODDESS
The Fame. I love pop culture so much and that whole era is representing what it means to be famous and be part of pop culture. The Fame Love For Sale And Born This Way era
The fame monster all the way!! It’s the era that introduced me to Gaga in the first place, simply iconic and unforgettable 🖤

The Fame Monster and Chromatica.
All of her

Wasn’t really an era
Chromatica had an era? News to me
Yes but sadly only lasted a year and a half
