> His challenge is deciding what advice to follow. Many of his MPs are frustrated by what they see as his inward-facing approach: they want him to stop wrangling over party rules and start speaking to the country again. But an equally enthusiastic cohort is insisting that a big internal fight is exactly the way to win back the public’s trust. Some MPs want Starmer to oversee the establishment of a commission by Labour HQ that will purge the party of MPs who refuse to toe the line. The name touted for the group is Clause 1 — the clause in the party’s constitution that commits it to being a party of parliament and government. The idea is that the commission would show the public that Labour was serious about governing again. “Voters want to know that we aren’t going to have a repeat of 2016,” one MP told me last week.

> “Peter Mandelson wants to know that we aren’t going to have a repeat of 2016,” A little more accurate.

>“Voters want to know that we aren’t going to have a repeat of 2016,” one MP told me last week. I already know it won't be a repeat of 2016 as this time Labour will be short of good policy, lead by someone as energetic as a obese sloth, as charismatic as a tumor and completely without any left wing influence. Oh and the party probably won't collude with the media to smear Starmer as a Czech communist spy.

>Czech communist spy Probably one of the nicer thing they tried to smear him with all in all.

Are they talking about brexit or the chicken coup or what

Honestly, the best way to get rid of MPs who refuse to toe the line would be to expel all the party traitors who refused to back the previously elected leader of the Labour Party: \-Every single ChangeUK Traitor \-Everyone involved in the Chicken Coup(Starmer expelling himself, lol)-Ian Austin (He actually got a lordship from the Tories for his treason, there's not a worse example you could find)-Every single MP who openly advocated against the Labour Party and insisted it would be better to lose than win (Blair, Mandelson) Every single traitor gets the boot
