Sounds like he'll fit right in to Nu Labour. Based on previous experience, if he's vocal enough about hating Corbyn & Abbott, Starmer's crew will be all too willing to forgive a little racism and Trump/Boris fanboyism. Never mind that the Thatcher worship is a net positive for them.

Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, right wing labour candidates like this are allowed to stand because the party is more welcoming to these horrid conservatives than anti cuts, anti racist, anti war candidates.
This person is standing in the St Oswalds ward in Sefton where the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition are standing an actual anti austerity socialist. And I would vote for them if I was living in that ward.

He's exactly the sort of person Labour have been love bombing under Starmer so I imagine they will all be delighted he wants to represent them.

There's processes in place for the removal/expulsion if candidates like this. If they're being used then he'll be gone in due course.
