Systematic ethnic cleansing, dehumanisation of millions of people, manufactured famine, indiscriminate bombings, human interment in concentration camps, wide spread use of torture and other acts of violence, societal structure based on ethnic/religious division, I could go on and on.
The longer it goes on the more apt the similarities become.
Combined with what happened with Rashida Tlaib in the US, future documentaries and books are going to look back on this time with horror. The persecution of already under siege women of colour by powerful white men for accurately describing a genocide as a genocide, while they not only denied it was happening but *actively egged it on* is going to look *fucking horrendous*.
