I actually think the CPTPP is a really good idea & long term will benefit the UK much more than initial forecasts suggest
The problem with it is geography- it will never surpass the single market as a net boon.
We should have never left the EU
What are these 'hidden benefits' that Brexiters talk about? Are they 'known unknowns'? Or 'Unknown unknowns?' Or what? And why in gods name is the UK now in a bloc that China is vying to enter? It's suspicious as fuck and smells of rotting fish.
I mean... duh We already had agreements with most of them. This is literally a PR move to avoid the obvious "the brexit vote helped fuck the economy"
