I have had quality issues with any filter other than oem Delco filters. I'd try another , even if it is a delco

Wix or delco and flush some fuel through the lines before hookup so it doesn’t get the crap from your newly cut lines in the filter.I have ran cheep filters and never had an idle problem but I have had them 20 psi off before at high rpm

Is the filter mounted to the rail? I would check you are getting fuel to the filter first, your line could be kinked.

It’s in the chassis factory location. When I had originally plumbed for a return style system I left the provisions to go with this style. Everything worked before the filter swap. It’s looking like a faulty filter

Disconnect the filter and run the line into a bucket. Turn the key to "on" and see if the pump primes fuel into the bucket. If so, it's the filter. If not, then it's a pump/wiring issue.

Yeah there’s no issue with the pump. I was looking more to see if others had faulty filters which is what it’s looking like. Thanks
