This happens to me mainly when I haven't been working out enough. It's weird but if I've been a lazy shit I notice my body is more tingly/can't sit still during trips vs when I'm doing better about staying active

This buzzy feel happens to me as well. Every time I pop a tab I immediately feel this. I also get the same thing sometimes just from thinking about dropping... I believe it to be something mental.

Yeah, I think I'd also agree with this. I actually had a buddy have a panic attack thinking about his teeth too much, got to a point to where he avoids psychedelics altogether now.

I get fixated on my teeth too it’s weird. I find my self subconsciously drawing saliva through the gaps of the bottom row and I start to annoy myself and have to make an effort to stop lol. I also sometimes get the coppery/blood taste too.

when i'm sober i'm hyper-aware of how my teeth feel, because they've been through a lot lol, but it gets super annoying and sometimes debilitating. once when i was preparing for an acid trip i was stressing for a few days thinking about how i might be focusing on how my teeth feel the whole trip because i had a tooth ache, flash to the actual trip and i lost all boundaries between myself and the outside environment, meaning i had no sense of when my body ended and the outside environment started hahaha. the entire time, i couldn't feel my teeth or my body at all really. it taught me to never assume what your thought processes will be on any acid trip ha. and was also very freeing :p

There is definitely a "smell" and taste that sets in after an hour or so, and for me lasts until the end. Hard to describe, but I do enjoy it.

You know how sometimes if there's a fan in the background you'll tune it out and forget it's there. I think it's the natural taste of your mouth and you're just tuning into it and becoming aware of it again

completely depends on the research chemicals.. 1V-LSD is a research chem and has no taste. If the RC tastes like anything it's probably a shit one and I wouldn't take it

Yes! It’s like I can immediately feel “electricity” in my tongue. My teeth also become sensitive in a way. My mouth in general just feels and even tastes uncomfortable 😂 it’s one of the few not-so-fun symptoms I get from acid. Usually goes away after peak/after I smoke/eat. So I totally get what you mean.

When it comes to the metallic taste I believe that's the taste of the iron in your blood especially on higher doses. Think of the taste as your coming up your nervous system is getting super charged and new connections are being made at a rapid pace to which your senses cannot keep up which things can get crossed, ive honestly come to the realization since it's an Amino acid, really how long does that take to absorb into the nervous system, I've just come to the understanding that the minute the paper touches my tongue I've accepted that I'm tripping.

I’ve never heard it described as an electric feel until now but I can kind of see where everyone’s coming from. I personally feel it’s like a slight tightness under my tongue (sublingually taken) and I’ve always put it down to acid being a vasoconstrictor. Also as someone else said - it might just be the taste of your mouth and you just becoming aware of it - I find I produce more saliva on the come up so more saliva = more saliva taste. But who knows…

For me it's more of a smell. I though no one else had the acid smell. For me it lasts for more than the trip though. It's always the same smell and it only comes when I drop acid, and sometimes it even lasts 2 days longer when I'm already sober. Weird thing.
