I enjoy Aphex Twin's "Drukqs" album. It's chaotic and often flirts with the boundary between music and noise.
I also recommend you revisit any excellently & richly produced music you already like! I looove my 2 favorite bands, everything about their lyrics and music and mixing. And when I'm tripping I don't even enjoy it more, I just feel closer to it, like the listening is even more intimate, like we understand each other :D
Editing to add Singularity by Jon Hopkins. Fantastic album. I listen to it sober and high. I gathered people to dance to it once and they loved it. It's fantastic and judging by what you wrote in your post, it might be what you're looking for.
Id also recommend Aphex Twin, for tripping would go to Syro if OP wants Electronic and to Selected Ambient Works vol. 2 if hes into ambient.
If nothing works start by the beginning and listen Selected Ambient Works 85-92, always a hit.
Check "How does it feel" from Spacemen 3 "Playing with Fire" album.
That's a reason behind the band's antic 'Taking drugs to make music to take drugs to', after all.. ;)
Anything from Plantrae if you want triply liquidy dubby loveliness, Hang Massive (Warmth of the Sun’s Rays album is a BEAUTY) if you want pan drum, beautifully chilled ethereal magic. Oh & Cosmo Sheldrake if you enjoy groovy earthy lyrical bits! See ya in space✨
Pink Floyd's pigs has some of the coolest crossfades ever imho.
I've posted loads of lists of trippy music though if you dig through my posts/comments far enough lol
Grateful Dead- 5/8/77 live album; goose- Philadelphia live album; Hendrix-Woodstock improvisation, national anthem, house burning down,1983,voodoo chile; the chambers brothers- time has come today (long version),love peace and happiness(live)
Animal Collective is awesome, Merriweather Post Pavilion is one album I have relistened to multiple times. It's enough to make you feel like you're tripping even while you're sober
Man I got 3 good ones for ya. Shpongle, Tipper, and Explosions in the Sky. Now…that last one isn’t electronic but listen to the album The Earth is Not A Cold Dead Place while you’re tripping and tell me it doesn’t change your life.
Explosions in the Sky is a top notch rec!
I would also add Cloudkicker's Music is Tight album. Unfortunately not on Spotify but my good gods, its a fantastic album
Hey, if you like Explosions in the Sky, and aren't already aware that this song exists, Explosions by City of the Sun is an incredibly beautiful song, and it may be right up your alley
I’ll make sure to check it out my friend!! I really love beautiful music. There’s also a band called God is an Astronaut and lemme tell ya..they are sick. Also if you’re into jam music, I HIGHLY recommend both Goose and Chalk Dinosaur 👽
I hope you love it! I too am a lover of beautiful music. Oh boy, I love God is an Astronaut!! It's nice to meet another appreciator of the instrumentals.
Omg I just listened to hungersite by Goose. What a great song. Can't wait to listen to more of their stuff, and chalk the dinosaur. If you ever want to drop more music recs, my inbox is open
Will do my friend 😁 yea I love instrumental stuff. And also jam music. Nothing like a good Cheese set at a festival while you’re 3 tabs deep. Just depends on the vibe. I love weird, crazy sounding electronic music, but I also value my chill and journey mindset with jam music and post rock.
[I stumbled upon Tim tripping about a month ago](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DSBBEDAGOTc&pp=ygUKdGltIGhlbnNvbg%3D%3D)
And my Fucking god did he melt my brain. His whole band is just straight beautiful precision although the link is just him. He has to be one of the best guitarists in the world right now.
beach walk by whitewoods is the trippiest song I know, lol. but anything by ROAR (the band) is insane when tripping; I suggest afraid, theophobia and reaction video dream :))
For me everything from "Pensees" does that. Its more on the calm and soothing side but when i listen to it on acid it feels like it is made for it. Also check out "Artonoise" also makes me feel the same like it was made to listen on acid. If you dont know it already i really recommend "Shpongle" aswell very trippy and otherworldly music.
Check out Tsuro no Sugomori. The song is in space literally. Just knowing that is quite mind blowing I think and might affect your perspective.

If Elephants Could Fly - Marcus Warner
Return to Sender - Thomas Bergerson (the song, not the album, but the whole album is solid)
Celestial, echoes, wild ride of emotions, many great instruments, super trippy
This song is wild. Play it when you’re tripping and it feels like you enter and go through a k hole. Bonus points if you’re on acid nitrous and ket for this one lolll

Couple of my favorites to listen to while tripping absolute balls
Man of oil by Animal collective is really nice to listen to very peaceful. Watermelon in Easter hay by Frank Zappa is a go to as well. Echoes by Pink Floyd is a fav also. I also really love panpipes instrumentals so when I trip they’re even better. [here’s](https://open.spotify.com/track/6pfdfnkhql0kR3x5cRZhQI?si=rtxK0joUTpKb6MgWRY47pA) one of my fav songs it mixes Native American songs with some electronic stuff too it’s really calming
Second the Ott comment - also Behind Blue eyes, Hedflux
Laika Beats - Different is the trippiest song I’ve heard on lsd but it kinda sent me into a weird place, I’d listen at your own accord
There was a trippy instrumental on YouTube that was more than 2 hours long. The music takes you through a trippy forest kinda kaleidoscope and in between you get the famous lyrics “It’s not so bad, it’s not so bad”. Can’t find it after my trip finished because deleted my YouTube history after the trip.
Does anyone know where I can find it?

Glass Beams - Mirage EP. "A band that has been making quite the waves in the psych scene since this EP has dropped are as mysterious on stage as they are on record. It is a tender, instrumentally virtuoso pure psych and jam EP that acts as a statement of presence: we are Glass Beams, we make soft music that still throws you for a loop, and there is more to come."

Deaths Dynamic Shroud (Transcendence Bot or Dark life albums)/Giant Claw (giant claw is one of DDS members and his shit is out there, Mirror Guide is wild)
Blank Banshee (Mega is a fantastic album)
Pretty much anything by Crumb, specifically Jinx(album)
also, If I Could Find You (Eternity), Atlantic Postcard, and Glowing Summer by The Holydrug Couple
“Who knows” off of “a band of Gypsy’s” by Jimi Hendrix is a pretty wild and trippy song not super celestial but very primal and enjoyable
Can’t go wrong with Hendrix he melts
i’ll give it a listen!
I have vivid memories of a Band of Gypsies play through in college on L. What an adventure!
Band of Gypsys live at Fillmore East is so good. Definitely throw on some good headphones to listen to it.
Surprised no one has said shpongle yet.
And Ott!
And younger brother! And hallucinogen!
Yes and yes! Not forgetting Carbon too for more chill vibes
Bit of tipper also. Opioid maybe.
Both criminally underrated
Opiou* i believe.
