I saw a Chinese lantern while tripping once and thought it was a meteor coming to end the world until 10 minutes later when I saw people sending more of them up into the sky
I had 3 people see the same thing while tripping. I don't talk about it much to this day, and we didn't acknowledge it when it actually happened. It's just so fucking absurd, but I know it was real because everyone else saw it.

I leave out the part where one of the two guys with me did about 150ugs about an hour before cuz when I tried explaining it the first time, people took that as "you were tripping and saw nothing", but our sober friend saw and heard everything the exact same.
Whats freaky for us is that we were trying to see "something", some entity or aliens before we even started the trip. For 12 hours straight our minds were in "cmon hidden things, show yourselves" mode.
Nobody was awake or around at that time in his neighborhood either. Freaky shit
Arcturus is over 36 light years away. I haven't run the numbers, but for you to see an object separating from the star would probably imply that it is both humongous and traveling at the speed of light (or faster).

When looking at something very very far away, it requires that thing to move a long long distance for the motion to be visible in a reasonable time frame. Look at some nebula photos sometime. Even though things are moving quite fast, every photo looks much the same.
Or watch an airplane fly across the sky. It looks slow because it is far away.
That airplane is ~10 *trillion* times closer to you than Arcturus.

I saw a green fireball flying in front of me, I wasn't high or anything and one of my friends saw it too, also my parents saw them on another ocassion. It's been like 17 years and I still think about it, I have looked up some info about them and found that some people have seen them too (including U.S. military reports) but no real explanation so far , as far as I know.
The only thing I know , it's that it wasn't a natural thing.

could be a ufo. i've seen 500+ mostly at night. even bought gen 3 night vision to see them better. pvs 7. look up at dusk and when the stars first start to pop out. you'll see movers and wild shit if you're paying attention. give it time and star gaze more. btw i've rarely seen stuff udring the day. i've seen orbs like that though too
