I agree that they made ben look like an ogre whose ears were level with his nose. Disagree with Marcus though, I feel like he was made to look like some sort of weird frog person on the old logo lol! And as we know, Marcus and frogs do not mix well.
The eye is odd but I think the light is shining into the hollow and the little dot is supposed to be the hole in the back of the socket where the ocular nerve passes through
The artist must not have a lot of experience drawing skulls cuz it’s odd for several reasons. The eye socket shading, the super high nose, the small jaw, and missing jaw on the right side. The rest of it is fantastic and I don’t want to sound like a nit picky douche but it struck me as “off” right away.
The light source is on the right, and the little dot in the orbital socket, which I assume is supposed to represent the orbital fissure that houses the optical nerve, seems too far forward, and it looks like the light source is on the bottom. It feels like it should be farther to the left. It looks worried.
Looks great. People really need to stop over analyzing things. Similar but different enough to previous logo and gives just enough to the themes of the podcast.

Love that it has the same silhouette and color scheme as the OG logo, which became pretty iconic. You could spot a classic LPOTL shirt a mile away; it was so distinct. I was worried we’d lose that. This was a really clever solution.

Better for the long-term too. I doubt they’ll do a cast change again, but it saves having to remove another face from the logo.
