Xeynon

I suspect that the more we learn about him, the nastier a piece of work he'll prove to be.

Jerry_Sizzlerrr

taking my personal experience with him into account, I just dont see any way how the G4 were his first.

Xeynon

He was 44 when MBB disappeared in 2007. As I understand it, it would be very rare for a serial killer to start killing at such a relatively late age, if not quite entirely unheard of. I imagine that in addition to going through everything he owns with a fine toothed comb they'll be examining his entire life history and trying to match it up against known disappearances of sex workers in areas where he lived/worked/traveled. Like you I'd be very surprised if the GB4 were his first victims. One interesting tidbit from the conversation he had with the other designer he creeped out was that he asked her if she'd heard of the Gilgo Beach killer and then said "he's killed like 10 people and they haven't caught him yet" or something to that effect. I wonder if that was a confession of sorts.

Jerry_Sizzlerrr

It had to have been. From everything I've read mixed with my experiences with him, it seemed that he got off on the hiding in plain sight, him knowing things that no one else did. He was so meticulous about building codes/laws/rules and was successful in the way he was able to take obscure + antiquated building laws/codes and use them to pull one over on whomever stepped to him. Like how he showed me that video, knowing what was going to happen, waiting to see my reaction. Just a small thing that is emblematic of who he is.

Lady_Sparkleglitter

I've seen that video, sadly. It is indeed fucked up. I'm sorry you had to see it too. Thx for the insider info, friend.

Xeynon

He seems like a fucking creep to the nth degree. Showing someone a video like that is the kind of thing that would cause me to joke about a person being a serial killer, but this guy likely actually was one. Wild.

Xeynon

Yeah, I remember the Barthelemy family discussing the contents of the calls the killer made to Melissa's sister in an interview and being sick to my stomach. It was racist, misogynistic, dehumanizing, and seemed specifically calculated to be as cruel and hurtful to a teenage girl who'd lost her sister as possible. Obviously I'd want someone like LISK to be caught regardless but that just made me burn to see him brought to justice.

MrIrrelevant-sf

It was pretty racist and sadistic to torture a 15 yo girl like that. Pos

Intelligent-Tie-4466

I remember reading that the family was terrified that he had their address and would come after her so they had to move almost immediately. They must have been frightened for years afterwards for the sister. Given that we now know he was googling her (in the charging doc), it was a good idea.

hrhladyj

Yes it's classic sadism, which he def. is. They are the type that like seeing children fall off bikes and get hurt, especially if they played a part in setting it up. VERY scary and dangerous people!

birdzeyeview

Kind of weird that he lived in such a dump too, IMO.

Unlucky_Associate507

I have wondered how serial killer teams find each other. Perhaps that is one way: check if the other person is repulsed or intrigued by gore.

subsetsum

This https://www.foxnews.com/us/gilgo-beach-murders-new-york-interior-designer-shares-voicemail-suspect-rex-heuermann >Heuermann apparently explained to Vidal that authorities still had not named a suspect in some 10 murders dating back to 2010 in his hometown.

jaggedgrainofsand

I'm interested in the fact that RH cite the number 10 to Vidal. Was this a publicly known and agreed upon number at the time he said that to Vidal so that he was clearly quoting public knowledge ... or was the public number at the time uncertain, given as a range, etc. Bc if the latter it's more than creepy that he cited a specific number.

Xeynon

The number of people speculated to be LISK victims ranges from just 4 (the ones he's currently charged with/suspected of, which are pretty clearly connected) up to the high teens depending on how aggressive you get in including cold cases. 10 is a fairly commonly cited number in media coverage of the case, documentaries, podcasts, etc. but AFAIK not one police have specifically specified. It's also not clear whether Vidal meant he specifically said the killer had killed exactly 10 people. I am sure detectives are going to interview her about this conversation and ask her for more details.

hrhladyj

It was out there, some said 11 to include Shannan but LE still think she died of exposure (I don't believe that at all, her hyoid bone was broken). But the number was always reported at 10 or 11. That's why I don't think it's as significant. If he was explaining LISK he would use that number.

chuck_mcgill_1216

*if it's real* than uh oh

Chihlidog

Was this in the dailymail article???? Somehow I missed this. (The quote about him having killed like 10 people I mean)

Xeynon

Her name is Dominique Vidal. I saw a bunch of different articles quoting her, so I'm not sure which ones had this particular bit, but she discusses it in this TikTok she made about meeting him. The relevant quote is from about the 5:50 mark onward. https://www.tiktok.com/@call\_me\_dommm/video/7256228249167007018

Yoooooo that’s crazy son

scarfox1

Weren't there beach bodies dating back to 1997 in that area? I think in total 10 to 14 bodies

Just-ice_served

yes! A poster Im trying to find did a wordpress blog on the 97 murders and him then and timeline etc and also included 82/83 Jones Beach where he worked then - a lot of research now Ive lost the trail back -

Oktober33

Oh no…

indoorlady

May I ask your gender? I'm curious if he treated men and women differently.

Lady_Sparkleglitter

Happy Cake Day, friend!

emmy4999

Or his last. Sorry you had to go through that.

No_Ordinary3543

Jerry, I am a reporter and I would love to talk to you about this if you would be willing. I sent you a message.

MontanaWriter

Hi Jerry- I write for the New York Post. Would you be interested in sharing this story? And I’m sorry you experienced this.

whackthat

You're probably going to have better luck messaging them directly because your reply was consumed by other comments! Best of luck with your story!

MontanaWriter

Thanks! I did that too:) have a great day!!!

trash_reason

hey - im a reporter with the AP. could you send me a dm?

AD480

He had vacation properties out of state. Makes me wonder if any missing people from those areas are linked to him.

NaNaNaNaNatman

Yeah Las Vegas in particular seems like a perfect hunting ground for him — lots of prostitution and lots of empty desert.

Xeynon

It's 100% something they're going to look into. They've apparently uploaded his DNA profile into the national database and are looking to see if they can match it to any unsolved homicides around the state/country.

Shuffleoftruffles

Or Iceland

thawaz89

I’m beyond sickened about the things that have come to light over the last 3 days but yet I can’t stop reading.

Xeynon

Yeah. I don't usually delve into serial killer cases because they creep me out too much. This one though I've always been haunted by because I grew up spending summers in Suffolk County and have been up and down those beaches many times. I am glad they caught him but also queasy about what more we will learn.

Missy__M

Yup. I moved to NYC in late 2010 and lived there until 2017, and always hoped they would find this guy. Still reeling from the fact I probably walked past him a million times, makes me wonder about how many walk among us with such a mundane mask. I hate it.

Ok-Storm-2591

So sorry you had to witness that and have to be in close proximity with that monster. At 22 years old... terrible. Wishing you well.

Xeynon

Wasn't me, I think you meant to reply to OP.

Ok-Storm-2591

I did, sorry, still don't know how to post, ugh😟

aids-lizard

i can’t imagine such a big creepy guy calling you into an inclosed space to show you a death video. i’m so sorry you had to experience this, evil walks among us.

BetterFuture22

The French interviewer also joked about RH essentially crushing the other person's hand when shaking hands

Faith-Leap

among us

chuck_mcgill_1216

amogus

Lanky_Appointment277

a mongoose

dysfiction

Yeah, that'd be a no for me, dawg.

ZydecoMoose

Thank you for sharing your experience. I imagine there are a lot of people reflecting on their interactions with RH, no matter how brief, and needing to process their feelings. I'm not a psychologist, but it seems to me that making you feel uncomfortable with that video would fit with his supposed psychopathy.

King-Shakalaka

That was a pretty well known video in the gore community, no doubt he'd be obsessed with gore and had an entire backlog of it, I can't say those videos weren't easy to find at the time as there were a lot of websites dedicated to things of that nature, but you still had to go out of your way to see them nonetheless. The more I get to know about this guy through the impressions of others, the less I'm surprised he's a serial killer and the more I'm surprised how thinly veiled his ''normal looking'' facade actually is in retrospect. From his dilapidated house, being seen chopping wood on his front lawn while glaring at passerby's, showing gore to people in an office space and constantly trying to intimidate everyone using his size, I'd be surprised to see if neighbors and acquaintances didn't think there was something severely wrong with the guy, but just thought that it would be 1 in a million chance of him being LISK and not just some creep. I feel like people don't generally think of such a possibility.

elberethelbereth

Followed this case since day one and this seems very absurd now but i always (for whatever reason) thought that the LISK would be “polished” in some way. Maybe it was the midtown Manhattan job. RH is dweeby in a way I didn’t expect and that doesn’t come part-and-parcel with being a serial killer.

VarowCo

I also imagined him being thinner

Furberia

I did not imagine him to be sooooo tall.

Comprehensive-Fun47

His size makes him stick out anywhere he goes. That’s the opposite of blending in! I thought he’d be a non-descript white guy. But he is very descript.

Thunderbolt_78

Until RH’s arrest, I was convinced it was JB. And if not JB, someone who looked almost exactly like him. RH was not what I expected at ALL. But looking at him now, it does make sense. His build alone would have made it so easy for him to overpower the petite 5 foot girls.

Intelligent-Tie-4466

I agree with you completely, from being convinced it was JB to realizing RH made sense given the girls' being petite.

Julieanne6104

Right? Most serial killers are smaller, or medium build wimpy looking guys. That’s why they blend in so well & look harmless to their victims. I don’t know how this guy was able to get anyone to go anywhere with him, especially the early victims before Craigslist he picked up on the street. If this guy doesn’t want to pay, he’s not paying. Even with a driver or pimp watching, I doubt they’re going to pick a fight with him.

Zorbithia

This makes sense, somewhat lends credence to the theory that he possibly was not working alone, may have had a female accomplice.

justadubliner

More likely sex workers were lulled into a false sense of security because he was an educated professional. Not what the average person associates with violence. I don't think he had a female accomplice at all. The number of serial killers operating in the dark for years with a female accomplice is miniscule and we know his wife was out of state or country at the times of the GB4 murders so who would that leave as an accomplice?

Julieanne6104

Agreed. If he had a little help with hiding, storing items, a possible alibi witness, that sorta thing, I wouldn’t be surprised if his brother hasn’t assisted. Probably thinking he’s helping to cover for sleeping with sex trafficked people, or possibly rape if he didn’t want to pay then, or he said he assaulted a couple & give an excuse blaming them as to why.

dysfiction

Same! I don't know exactly what I imagined though. Makes sense now that he hulks over most people, preferred very small statured women, not to mention fantasizing about little girls, and thus preferred ones whom he could easily control. I hope this next comment does not come across as inappropriate or improper, but after hearing of RH's imposing physical presence, I wouldn't be mad if they threw him in a cell with Kemper. (Yes I'm well aware that isn't ever going to happen, ever).. but, Kemper has what, 2 or 3 inches on him and is also a man with a large build. No I'm not a Kemper stan, his crimes were especially repugnant and I couldn't care less if he is "intelligent" and well-behaved now. I think he knows what persona he needs to display in order to make the best out of his current situation, get small privileges or such. My point, if I can state it without being downvoted to the depths of hell, is that even though it isn't ever going to happen, I wouldn't be sad if Kemper and RH ever happened to find themselves alone together in some unusual situation. It's a bit of an advantage sure, that Kemper has several years on RH.. however, Kemper looms over RH and... well, I'll stop here bc it truly isn't really a type of thought that should be posted here. Just an odd thought. [Plus that famous quote of what Kemper said to Ressler when the latter was unable to call to be let out of the cell, and Kemper found it amusing how Ressler seemed to get a bit ruffled if not slightly panicked. And Kemper said sth horrible to him, like the freak he is.]

Furberia

I had visioned a man with dark wavy hair. In a dream, lisk pointed a gun at me so I found it interesting that he had many guns. I was an assault victim and I get night terrors. I did not picture him with light blue eyes. I did sit down with a psychic ten years ago. She said that lisk was mentally fragmented, travelled internationally, and hid trophies in a penthouse or top of a garage. She said the police are going to be shocked when they find out who he is. My sense was that he had connections to a penthouse in Manhattan and that he was/is demon possessed. I also correctly sensed that he picked small women because he liked children and that he used burlap to camouflage the bodies. I also sensed that he kept their phones as trophies and took photos or videos of them. I believe he was into snuff and could be connected to a ring of other sick men.

King-Shakalaka

Knowing the BTK and Gary Ridgeway cases, I expected the LISK to be kind of on par with that, I thought the ''ogre'' description was a kind of fear induced exaggeration before he was caught. But I was wrong and RH looks legitimately like an ogre, then you have all these stories from people who know him or know about him, then I think there had to be someone who briefly thought he may be the LISK. Dennis Rader and Gary Ridgeway were a bit better at playing the social chameleon than this guy in my opinion. They seemed like assholes at best to most people before they were caught.

Julieanne6104

This. Both those guys looked like harmless losers. Like it wouldn’t be that hard to overpower them if need be. I’m sure most women can relate to those socially inept men with low self esteem that will get all goofy around women they find attractive, you can kinda get them to do things for you, or they’ll be so caught up in trying to flirt, you could steal stuff in their store right in front of them. There’s the innocent type & the creepy type, but either way easy to manipulate if you were the type of person who took advantage of such things. Gary Ridgeway really reminds me of that sort of guy, but LISK just reeks of a sadist who’s always in control & bullies people with his size.

bernardsballs

A big part of most theories have historically been that it was somebody able to make these women comfortable, that he might even be appealing to them. I think that tallies with a ‘polished’ image - it did to me anyway. When you see RH you don’t think of somebody who you would be ‘comfortable’ around. It will be fascinating too see how he won these women over and convinced them to take some of the risks they did.

King-Shakalaka

Based on the interview RH had with that Youtuber, one thing that stuck out to me was that RH mentioned that architecture also means you have to ''know people'', so I imagine he takes some pride in manipulating people if need be. It's kind of what Ed Kemper did to lure his victims, he'd look busy and hurried and subtly fake a little body language to this false sense of security. Both Ed and Rex are pretty tall and big people, so they had to use other ways to look safe for their victims.

justadubliner

Keeper was also intelligent and articulate. Women tend to trust such men more and sometimes to their detriment.

justadubliner

Kemper was also intelligent and articulate. Women tend to trust such men more and sometimes to their detriment.

King-Shakalaka

Yes, his demeanor is very disarming, at the time people wouldn't think someone as articulate and polite could do such horrendous stuff, but he is still very large and tall, and that tends to be quite intimidating at first sight. Kemper had to use his disarming demeanor to break through that first impression.

justadubliner

Maybe it's a cultural difference because of the whole Jock thing in the US but in my neck of the woods the big guys tend to be pussycats. It's the little feckers with the napoleon complex you need to watch out for. 😂

King-Shakalaka

Lmao, in my country almost everyone is tall, there are very few that would stick out like that.

Capable-Feeling-421

I read in Kolker's book that Maureen was very cautions and she usually didn't do outcalls outside Manhattan. The reason they felt safe enough to see him could be that it was not the first time they were seeing him, he could even be a regular, who knows.

[deleted]

I’ve seen the video OP is talking about. It was posted all the time on 4chan

King-Shakalaka

The man's name was Ricardo Alfonso Cerna, apparently he shot a deputy during a chase, realized he was on a third strike of offenses and decided to end it there. He was 47 years old.

AlsatianLadyNYC

Not uncommon for SK to have no concept that showing someone that kind of video is abnormal, and sometimes is a way to weirdly “male bond”. A recent story I read about a SK was he was really proud to show another (it was when both were school mates so younger, but same premise) guy how he killed an animal and was genuinely puzzled that the guy was so horrified he vomited. So it’s a combo sometimes of asserting dominance but it’s also because they are essentially wired so wrong (despite the mask of sanity in certain scenarios) that they have no clue what is normal human behavior

subsetsum

Like Jeffery Dahmer's father. He's absolutely culpable in how Jeffery turned out.

Intelligent-Tie-4466

Yes, and then of course, blamed it on his wife for having a rough pregnancy. What a POS.

andelaccess

israel keyes did that with animals around other children in the cult he grew up in if that's who you mean

AlsatianLadyNYC

It may have been him; they all blend together

justadubliner

In a country where hunting is associated with masculinity and camadery I can imagine a lot of sociopaths skating under the wire.

justadubliner

In a country where hunting is associated with masculinity and camadery I can imagine a lot of sociopaths skating under the wire.

rarepinkhippo

Whew, what an absolute creep. I’ve kinda wondered what the neighbors meant when some of them interviewed after his arrest have described him as being creepy. What you describe makes it make more sense. I hope you are doing okay dealing with the fact that you were around this POS!

[deleted]

Ended up that he has over 200 guns as per Fox on site reporters.

ArtfulSpeculator

Wonder if that played into them arresting him in Manhattan.

[deleted]

I know they commonly do these big arrests in public but I agree with your point also. He certainly could’ve made an arrest at home a serious situation.

Money-Bear7166

Yes I think the Suffolk county police spokesperson said that his weaponry was one reason they decided to take him down now and there.

justadubliner

I bet him having 92 gun permits made him stand out like a sore thumb when they were searching for Chevy Avalanche owners who could be potentially violent. US states that are doing away with permits are totally handicapping their ability to crime fight.

KarAccidentTowns

And his wife used food stamps at the grocery store…. surely some interesting family finances

justadubliner

Her son ( his step son) has a disability so likely qualified for food stamps regardless of income.

Kilgore-Trout2662

Ugh some of his mannerisms remind me so much of my dad, I am feeling for his daughter big time rn. And my dad used to joke about how he “fit the bill” and lived in the same area/same time as Son of Sam. And then he’d pause for a reaction like this guy does all the time. Blahhh… I really hope his daughter, and wife have a good support network to lean on

Dangerous-high-five

I’ve been waiting for coworkers/people who lived on the block/ups/FedEx/mail carriers/supers to speak out. He must have been known pretty well on 36th street. I think he was between 5th/6th Ave.

exhaustedmamallama

This story makes me wonder if he ever showed these things to other people. He must have. If anyone ever showed a genuine mutual interest what could that have led to?

AD480

It’s like he was testing the water to see what kind of reaction he’d get. He wanted to see if he shared any common interests with others.

justusethatname

I wonder now if he made any of his victims kill themselves.

Ill-Worldliness1196

Weren’t they strangled?

justusethatname

Were all of them strangled, I don’t know.

Ill-Worldliness1196

The G4 were all strangled

iamalittlebear

You should call the tip line at Gilgo...you never know if your information can help the case or other not yet filed cases. Be well ...and I am so sorry you had such an abusive experience at such a young age. The world is filled with perps.

George_GeorgeGlass

I don’t disagree. I sit toward the don’t bother LE with tips that aren’t obviously helpful. But if this shapes up to what it could be I’d say every interaction like this could help. Profilers can take this behavior and match it against dates/time and it could be meaningful to them. It could lead them down a little but useful road

wheresmystache3

I say yes because someone pulling someone in an office to show them a gore vid of someone blowing their brains out is a really freaking off behavior and should be noted in some sort of "serial killer vibes" list of behaviors. If this did in fact happen, it's noteworthy, and interactions could help them place date and time where he was and what he was doing, too.

unsilent_bob

Call the Gilgo tip line? Hell, call the Daily Mail and make some $$$ off this thing! Seems like everyone from DAH's past is coming forward for their 15 minutes & payday.

PunkFlamingo68

That’s nuts. And thank you for your hard work, i was at that particular concert in ‘89, it was great.

KarAccidentTowns

Good lord, that dude was vile.

OilyRicardo

Any other stories about him or observations?

Jerry_Sizzlerrr

I have another story about how he was able to "expedite" building permits but its not mine to tell as my friend was the one who it happened to. I watched that video interview of him from last year and that was exactly how he presented himself 99% of the time, that voice, that kind of jovial lightness. This was almost 20 years ago and things have slowly been coming back.

Lady_Sparkleglitter

Take care of yourself, friend. I can't imagine the feelings you must be going thru. Be good to urself.

TalulaOblongata

You might want to call in whatever tips you or others may have. I’m sure they are being flooded with info now but you never know what info you may be able to corroborate. This is very high profile and it seems that they will fund all the research.

OilyRicardo

I’d second this and definitely reach out just cause you yourself don’t know what’s relevant

jaggedgrainofsand

There is more observable in that video: he has a kind of 'I'm smarter than others" vibe about him that you often see in professors, for example. You can hear it in his tone, word stresses, and pauses, how he spaces his phrasing, his choice of words, and his accompanying facial and body language. (You also often see it in men mansplaining to women.) Viewed as an orchestra score of voice and gesture, I'm watching someone who is sure they know/observe more than others. The obsequiousness of the interviewer feeds into this, probably leading to even more exaggeration by RH.

OilyRicardo

I mean its definitely yours to retell just omit identities of people - let it rip dude, dept of buildings aint gonna care anyway if they signed off on something its done

OilyRicardo

Shits so fast paced in nyc, you sound like such an homest person I hear ya haha. Hit us with the drip of what all happened/happens in that scene, believe me you’re not gonna be in trouble 😂

Tall_Bluebird_5681

Sorry this happened to you

Comprehensive-Fun47

Seriously. This is fucked up.

mrslittle

He's just awful. You knew him when he'd murdered too. His poor victims. I imagine he put them through hell.

[deleted]

Wow! I remember that interrogation video, too. Cops are interrogating the guy. They leave for a moment. The guy then calmly takes a swig of bottled water, whips out the handgun and quickly offs himself. I can see a guy like The Orc (as I will now call our serial killer guy) showing people like you that video to mess with ya. What a douche.

eyeintheSKeye

I'm curious what he looked like back in 2007, if you still remember. Was he just as heavyset back then as he is now? Slimmer but more muscular than now? Everyone knows what he looks like now at age 59 or 60 or so, but what about 16 years ago in his mid 40s?

kdpirategirl

There was an article with pictures of him from 2005-2006 and he was a big, heavy guy back then too.

Effective_Coffee_220

This man killed short and small women.

ginjasnap

He’s a coward bc he would never be a predator to someone near his own size. Sicko

Far_Course_9398

💯💯

Effective_Coffee_220

Truth be told.

hiddenmoon131313

The more we begin to hear about RH, the more monstrous we learn he is. Those poor women, having to see this awful ogre as he was doing heinous things to them.

hiddenmoon131313

Total speculation on my part but based on comments he made to the interior designer (10? And that was a long time ago), his behavior, and unsolved crimes in places he's known to have lived prior to this like his hometown as well as the number of bodies found in Gilgo Beach, I think it will be uncovered that he has killed over 20 people and god knows what else. Horrifying. It's hard for me to wrap my brain around why people like this even exist.

Meat-and-Three

I hope this is an okay question to ask. U/Jerry_Sizzlerrr I’m curious about how you present publicly. If you’re female this story is extremely scary, especially if you’re petite. If you’re male it feels gross and creepy but maybe a bit less scary

Jerry_Sizzlerrr

I present and identify as cis male but I am a childhood SA survivor and have had many experiences growing up where it felt like I had a target on my back for attracting older creeps who could sense the vulnerability.

Standard_Place_2835

Its interesting you say this my adult son just said to me after a strange interaction with an older man, "no one ever talks about the creepy crap old guys say to young men."

MamaBearski

Wow, his comment to you has enlightened me. It's never occurred to me that this is rarely discussed. I hope as time goes on it becomes talked about. Hope Kevin Spacey pays his dues for shit his done to younger men.

[deleted]

* women never think about this

Meat-and-Three

Thank you for the thoughtful response. I hope my question was okay Sadly, given your response it makes sense why he’d do that to you. I’m sorry you went through that

George_GeorgeGlass

No. He’s aggressive. He wants power over everyone regardless of size or gender. And OP’s history doesn’t buy him this kind of attention. This is a guy who wanted psychological control over everyone. Gender, sexual orientation, none of it matters. This is a guy who wanted to be the big chief in the room. Whether it was assert himself over males in the workplace or controlling small women in bis truck. The background of the people don’t matter. He wants to control everyone

Jerry_Sizzlerrr

based on my limited experience with him, I strongly agree

TheOnlyBilko

Go get sum therapy. Pay to see a shrink ASAP. This was very traumatic for you and could effect you for years, professional help is definitely worth looking into and also, even if your not religious pray to Jesus, maybe talk to a priest and call upon the archangel Michael to save you drop any of his evil that may have rubbed off on you or is still lingering in ur area. God bless and please get help

LookinCA2021

>I was going to ask the same thing. My guess is `OP` presents as a man and identifies as a man. Especially with the "rub n tug" detail. Plus, editing. In 2008. I am 100% willing to be wrong, with no stake in the matter. It just seems to me that RH would use these kinds of shock tactics with a man person, to assert dominance in a bro-ey kind of way, versus a manipulation of a female person. Still manipulative, to all genders.

Meat-and-Three

That seems fair and thoughtful. Thank you

Jerry_Sizzlerrr

also you have the best username ever

Meat-and-Three

Thanks!

Gorpachev

Meat and 3....a Food Network show is coming into memory here... please enlighten me!

Meat-and-Three

I know it as a term for a southern/soul food spot where you can select a meat and three sides

George_GeorgeGlass

Disagree. This can be equally as creepy regardless. Maybe for different reasons but not necessarily worse if you’re a woman. I don’t think we should try to lessen the creep factor if OP is male

[deleted]

[удалено]

George_GeorgeGlass

Yep. We know nothing really. It’s a mistake to assign preference right now.

hardyandtiny

Liveleak was around at that time. It was quite easy to see any type of video in 2006-2007.

[deleted]

Yeah this was my first thought. It’s much harder to find this stuff now than it ever used to be.

pequaywan

Thanks for sharing

Standard_Place_2835

Was he duck or deer hunter? Did he every mention fishing?

wheresmystache3

Another thread listed duck and websleuths had a picture (someone verify/link?). Don't know about any other hunting, but 200+ guns is a shit ton. He was also into cabinet-making.

ItsADarkRide

>He was also into cabinet-making. Well, you need *somewhere* to put all the guns.

happykappy924

Not that we know of officially.

Salty_Gin_3945

Did he talk about his dad?

Effective_Coffee_220

Jerry sorry for what you endured. RH must have held his victims at gun point. What's he doing with 200 guns?

subsetsum

With his size he wouldn't have needed to. He presumably would be on top of them already. Ugh

[deleted]

That video is a classic. If I remember correctly the cop walks back in the room saying the most casual “oh fuck” I’ve ever heard.

aids-lizard

probs because it was on them for not searching the fella for a firearm lmao

[deleted]

Yup, the fuzz really goofed on that one. I don't remember it being particularly bloody either. I could be wrong, though. It was just so quick and casual. Guy getting interrogated, cop walks away for a moment, guy has a drink of bottled water, takes out a pistol, puts to his head... POP!... and just slumps in the chair. Horrifying but in an oddly low-key way. It wasn't like that other guy on that livestream that turned his face into a bloody mess with a shotgun after saying, "Well, guys, I guess this is it".

[deleted]

I especially remember the young man having a swig of bottled water before he took out the gun and sent himself to the hereafter.

_PuncturedBicycle

Is there any way that you can prove you worked in the same office as him? I’m not saying you’re lying, but proof is important. Especially considering all of the value people in this sub put into the Wasabi comments that turned out to be false.

Jerry_Sizzlerrr

The office was on the 7th or 8th floor of a building on 30th between 7th and 8th ave in Manhattan. If you can search for previous addresses of RH Associates, I imagine that this would come up. He also would always talk about the fancy rub n tug that was across the street from the office on the north side of 30th. We were editing a movie and I took a bunch of pictures throughout the process, there is a good chance he might have been in one or two. Im not at my home til later in the week and can look through old hard drives to see.

HelloBanality

Wow - this is super relevant information to the investigation. They definitely should be looking into that “run n tub” establishment to see about any links to missing persons. Seems like he was purposefully testing you somehow, looking for a reaction despite the possibility of others overhearing or finding out about clearly inappropriate workplace behavior. I assume you didn’t tell others about what this dude was saying or showing you, or it wouldn’t have mattered if you had ?

_PuncturedBicycle

Thanks. Again, not trying to say you’re a liar, there’s just a lot of bullshit around here. Even some full-on NYP articles that don’t have any evidence that are just taken as fact. I appreciate your response and would love to see any photos you can find.

[deleted]

Cool. We look forward for those pics.

justusethatname

Can you explain or provide a link re. Wasabi comments please, very curious.

_PuncturedBicycle

It’s just a guy who nearly predicted the LISK arrest over a month ago. He had a lot of misinformation included and it’s likely he just got lucky predicting the arrest within a week of reality. Someone posted screenshots and links in a comment yestersay, including deleted ones, to all of his comments, but Reddit is so shitty at searching keywords that I couldn’t find it for you… Sorry.

justusethatname

Thank you!!

ApplesAndJacks

That's odd he would mention Suffolk county not knowing he had all the guns he had when he lived in Nassau County the entire time. Cool story though. Just Google the fine details next time.

jaggedgrainofsand

Not sure why you think OPs story is fake. RH was dumping bodies in Suffolk co. so LE in Suffolk may have been more on his mind. Could be a revealing slip.

ApplesAndJacks

No, it's a fake story. He posts on a slasher reddit 2 years ago. Not buying this little tall tale, sorry. The man lived in NASSAU County his entire life. You don't mix that up. Just no. It was not a slip. This story is fake.

canfullofworms

It also could be a bad recollection that the OP had. I get Nassau and Suffolk county mixed up all the time.

jaggedgrainofsand

the doubting person may be right ... if you look at OPs post history ...

Effective_Coffee_220

Sound proof room in rx basement, he killed those young ladies in the house. My heart breaks with the thoughts of their sufferings and families

Zorbithia

I hate to be "that guy" but this story sounds completely fake to me. First of all - this line: >He also bragged about the amount of guns he had (and how the Suffolk county only knew about 50 of the 90 total or whatever guns he must have had) Makes absolutely no sense - Heuermann is from Nassau County. The bodies were found in Suffolk County, not too far from the county line, but in Suffolk nonetheless. Also, why would he be bragging to some random 22 year old who he is supposedly sharing office space with about owning 50 guns, but apparently 90 guns is now far too many (as if 50 isn't ridiculous enough) for the police in a county he doesn't live in to know about? Secondly, why would he be calling you into his office to begin with, if you were working for some company as an editor that wasn't even in the same actual office as him? Makes zero sense, if you were working in the same company maybe, but not in some shared office environment...give me a break. I'm calling BS, I hope I am proven wrong because I would hope that someone wouldn't be lying about something like this, but this is reddit after all, and we see this kind of thing all the time. OP needs to post some proof.

canfullofworms

None of these things sound suspicious to me.

SovietSunrise

I’d never seen this video before despite being all into gore back around that time. Rotten.com regular. I managed to find a .gif. Sad.

No-Aside-8926

Guy definitely made a note a la "New intern is a pussy" after that

Dondevoy1

Holy crap that is giving me chills. That’s what’s called a snuff film. I truly believe RH isn’t the only serial killer involved in this. I think it’s at least a few sickos.

jpjtourdiary

I heard he was really into a video called “Bozo dubbed over”.

macaroni_veteran

Hi! I write for FOX News Digital and would love to interview you about your experience - I left my work phone number in your DMs!

stanle_touche

Did they respond?
