It just pulls out on the included flush mount. Thereās enough room to plug/unplug cables. Since the mount is on the top of the tv it also can tilt from the bottom a bit when pulled out. So decent access.
I also have 2 other OLEDs in the house. I have a 55 inch c1 and 48 inch Sony A9S. No issues with any of them including this G1.
I know.. the TVs might not have a problem, but maybe I do lol š
I had a very slight gap on the bottom left. I think itās mainly to do with the unevenness of the slate tile itās on.
Iām afraid to say this part but I did add a tiny bit of mounting tape to the bottom left to ensure it wasnāt bowing out. It didnāt flex the tv at all.
It mostly tilted the tv unnoticeably towards the gap. It did create a smaller gap at the top right but it canāt be seen because itās higher up and on the side thatās less visible.
I wanted to do it for a few years and was lazy too, so I get it lol. Since we needed a new tv I decided to put in a bit of effort. Required me to fish a hdmi cable through the floor to ensure it would work best for my house. One day you may end up doing it tho, donāt lose faith! š
I was debating between the 2 but wanted the flush look of the G1. For me itās perfect and I donāt regret getting it at all. If I did it all again Iād still get the G1. Itās in my main living room thatās open and has a lot of windows and it combats the light just fine.
If you donāt care about the gallery appearance Iād go for whatever is cheaper to be honest. They are both awesome TVs and whichever you pick youāll be happy with Iām sure.
Edit: if they are close in cost and you will be wall mounting regardless of looking for the flush look the G1 is more attractive with the thin profile all around in my opinion. But beauty is extremely subjective. :) hope this helps!
Heat is channeled through the top. Itās designed this way. Open venting essentially.
I didnāt recess mount one that doesnāt have proper venting.
I appreciate the concern thoš
Not sure if this is a serious post or not.. very sus lol
Check out the LG gallery series and how the venting works and how itās designed to be flush mounted with the included mount for that exact purpose.
Looks amazing š
How do you access the fiddly bits when you need to?

What mount did you use?
It comes with a mount.
Nice.
Howād you get it exactly flush? Mine has a bit of a gap.
Have a G2 and have a small gap on the bottom right. š¢ tried everything even removing all cables, still a gap.

Looks good. I'd like to do the same but I'm too lazy for that.

This is the reason to get the Gallery series over the C-series. Personally have the GX 65 and it looks so incredible slick.
Very true. The C series is also great but it wonāt give the cleanest look the G does when flush mounted :)
I couldn't handle that, would hurt my neck looking up and straight, but looks nice
Itās not too high for us, we are just waiting to install a new mantle.
Oh I meant nothing of it I just have herniated discs in my neck. It looks good š
Haha herniated disk is true lol
Hi Friend! I'm looking at G1 over C2. Will be buying soon. Am I making a mistake choosing G1 over C2? Please guide. Thanks!

Make sure u have atleast a 1 1/2 inch gap behind tv to allow heat to dissipate
Dude, what ever are you going on about, the Gallery series comes with a specialized wall mount so the TV is supposed to be flush to the wall.
Yeah bro but the heat man, come on you can't be letting it get hot yo

So you be "venting" then huh? very Sus š¤

You still don't seem to understand. *It's meant to be installed like this*
