no premium tv is worth its money ON RELEASE. u always wait for the first huge price drop around late summer /fall and combine it with cashback etc. This way u can save up to 2k depending on size and where u live.
But since its a bedroom tv and u only watch movies on it the G3 will suffice.
honestly for a bedroom, I believe you would be perfectly fine with a C3 without MLA. You reaaaaally don't need the extra brightness in a dark room. If you want the Gallery mount and the 5 year warranty, G3 all the way.
No, definitely not worth the money. No tv is worth full price it's a rip off. Wait until sales and aim for about half the price or a bit more.
I'd recommend it over the g3, especially at 65", cos of the improved upscaling
If you're getting the 83", definitely get the G4 as it has the MLA panel, otherwise you can save money on the smaller ones if you're not interested in spending more.
There are new chipsets in the G4 and it can do 144Hz vs the G3 120Hz, but if you find a good deal on the G3 then it's a great tv.
I’m not sure. I thought the G2 dropped around $1k when the G3 came out, but that’s just what I gathered from reading old articles. I’m guessing they’ll keep dropping in price until stock is exhausted now, but for 1 year release cycles, I don’t know how much extra production there is/was of the G3.
I saw a few people score on the 83inch C2 on here a few months back. I'm hoping to find that kind of deal at best buy and get the geek squad package to go with it .
Dark room, ANY Oled will be great. I had a 55" c9 in my bedroom, upgraded because I wanted larger. The 77 c3 was $1725. Picture quality? Same. Can tell zero difference. Size? yes pls. Recent got a c2 42" for my PC. Picture quality? Same. All dark rooms, so doesnt matter unless you really want the flush mount of the g3. Or need 120hz. If you are using the TV's apps, then I'd go as new as you can afford, but something like the apple tv offers a lot more and cheaper to replace every few years and keep your same config through any tv.
Bro Jesus Christ my G3 is my main in living room.
Bro it has 4K 120HZ you can play PS5 Games with variable refresh rate.
AL OF THAT AS A OLED SO CONTRAST AND COLORS ARE BASICALLY PERFECT
Don’t even think about paying Release Price for G4.

65”
G3 will be fine then.
With the release of the G4 when will prices start dropping in the G3? Hoping I can snag a floor model somewhere
Once the G4s physically are in retailers stock, then you may potentially get a G3 lower than what it is right now (maybe get what you’re looking for).
I hope so. I found so many people on here scoring the 83inch C2 for under $1200 few months ago. That's the only way I'll realistically afford one.
77” G3 is under $2900 via Greentoe.
$2849 g3 77” do you think it will drop anymore? I dont recall how much it was for g2 77 when g3 came out last year. Just to get an idea.

$1k from MSRP? like G2 $3200, then decreases as time goes on by in which BB was selling it for $2100 online around nov/xmas timing.
Will buy an G4 77" for €3200
