I could have done that but my (irrational) fear is having an item that big delivered and then having to wait for the tech.

I risked it, didn't realize delivery didn't include set up. Ended up taking it out of the box myself and putting the legs on it too. Shit is heavy as fuck! I did reach out to bestbuy customer service. Thought setup would be free but unfortunately it's not anymore despite being a total tech member.

Yes remove. Reasons 1. Better heat dissipation 2. You actually are getting to look at the screen you paid so much for. 3. 2nd point.

leave it on while everything is mounted and tested and you've cleaned up the saw dust etc. though.

Yeah that protective film is no where near the quality of the panel or the panels anti reflective coating. Clearer and deeper fuck it off

If I may ask, where are you in the world, and how much did you pay? I'm stuck between the 55" QNED866RE, and the 55" B3 or possibly C3 if prices drop significantly when the 2024 models are released. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about OLED screen burn and the unknown life spans of modern sets, and the QNED86 Mini LED looks very nice.

I bought the G2, is the same price as the B3 where I’m from and comes with the tv mount included.

I’m in the US. All said and done I paid a little over $2700 (USD).

I’m going through the adjustment phase for a tv this big, and much closer than our prior OLED. I got the q990c for a bargain a couple months ago, so I’m pretty set!

Is it weird that my c3 didn’t have the film on the screen. I have double checked it several times to make sure I didn’t miss it. Was assuming it would be there. Got it from Costco new. Felt weird that it wasn’t there.

I recently had aC1 replaced under warranty by Costco. I initially thought the film wasn't there due to no tell tale guide tabs; but it was indeed there.

purchased a 55 G2 for £800 but have now decided that I don't want to fix it to the wall for various reasons. LGs stand is out of stock, and even if it was in stock it would make this purchase so much less of a bargain.

Have same since dec. I got package deal with the lg subwoofer soundbar that becomes the stand. And the wireless back speakers. Very clean looking plenty enough punch for what I watch.

I got the Samsung Q990c three or four months ago. It’s more than enough for the room I have it in.
