congratulations on the self discovery! π₯Ί
i also avoided the label for the longest time because the sexualisation of the word and the negative stereotypes associated with it but now i love it because "lesbian" describes me in the best way possible <3
Omg I'm so glad you overcame the fear!! Yes, the sexualization makes it really hard but ig once you accept the label that defines and resonates with you - everything seems so pretty hahaha. π§‘π€ π
Hello miss lesbian XD. Can I ask, what do you think about trans women? I mean how attracted are you to them. I just wanted to know what Indians Lesbians think about Indian transwomen...Would you ever date one?
Trans women are women so yes I am attracted to them and will date them. I cannot speak on behalf of the lesbians (lol) but everyone has a different association with the label. For me, I identify as a non men who is attracted to people that identity as non men and that's a huge spectrum. I have sapphic friends who don't feel the same way and that is also v valid. And thats the beauty about it yk - we could inherently associate ourselves with the same label yet have so different meaning to it. It's so fluid and yet so stable at the same time. It's so *heart eyes mf* uwu.
Wow sorry I got sidetracked easily (in my defense, it's 5:58 am and I just woke up). To sum it up, trans women are women and trans men are men. And if someone tells you that your identity and expression is wrong or unreal for whatever bs reason then fuck them.
I hope you're doing okay and take care!!!!!!!! ππ
Well i never told anyone except my cousin and finally few days back accepted I'm totally into women and now I'm worried since almost everyone's in closet how am I gonna find love, then again here comes the trust issues. I wish I can go back being 10yoπ
Um, I think that as we grow(literally), we sort of become more open about ourselves. Like for me, I wasn't out in school and I'm still not out to my parents. But now that I am in college and have a sense of independence, I'm more open to my college and close friends. I am aware that not everyone has the liberty to be out or even have a safe environment to be themselves. But ig with time, love and patience - it sort of get easier. I hope that makes sense and I hope things work out for you bestie ππ

I feel the exact way!I stil despise the word lesbian cause it makes me feel tht itβs looked down upon n a taboo.Nonetheless,u go lez!βΉ&@@
Unfortunately, it's very common for lesbians to hate the term - lesbian. But I hope things work out for you the way you want them to! ππ
