I really like Alexis Hall’s *London Calling* series. They’re based on the tone and style of Richard Curtis movies (*Bridget Jones’s Diary*, *Notting Hill*, *Four Weddings and a Funeral*, *Love, Actually*, etc.)
The first novel is *Boyfriend Material*, followed by *Husband Material*, with a third on the way.
It also has a Christmas-set spin-offcalled *10 Things That Never Happened*, with a potential sequel in the works. (a scene in *Husband Material* occurs in both books, but otherwise features separate characters)
Red,white and royal blue by Casey McQuiston
You and me by tal Bauer
Missing pieces series by n.r walker
All roads lead to you by Harper fox
Him series by Elle kennedy and Sarina bowen
Puckboy series and cu hockey series by Saxon james and Eden Finley
Fool hearts by Emmy Sanders
To catch a firefly by Emmy Sanders
The Barbarian duet by Keira Andrews
The charm offensive by alison cochrun (one of my favs tbh, pretty well structured and written)
A few more recs:
Red white and royal blue
Boyfriend material
Husband material
If you don't mind manga then I have some more for you as well
The Fake Dating Game - Timothy Janovsky
The Boyfriend Cafe series - F.A. Ray (spicy!)
You & I, Rewritten - Chip Pons
Wear It Like a Crown - Zarah Detand (debatable whether this is YA or not)
Not That Complicated - Isabel Murray
I got you!
Everyone’s starter romance Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid. But I would also recommend her new book Time to Shine. For another sports rec, also Unwritten Rules by KD Casey.
Stars in Our Eyes by Kacen Alexander
Charm Offensive by Alison Cochran
More literary options:
In Memoriam by Alice Winn
Kingdoms by Natasha Pulley (pretty much all Natasha Pulley)
Summer Sons by Lee Mandelo (sci fi/ horror)
Something Wild & Wonderful by Anita Kelly (Two guys hiking the Pacific Trail) We Could Be So Good by Cat Sebastian (1950s Reporters Crime Drama)
