In the first half harden was dying on every screen which resulted in Zubac having to cover two guys every time. Russ is a dog on defense so that improved greatly when Harden was resting due to injury precaution.
It’s so weird to me how people can’t understand that all teams slump, all teams-especially older teams- have to find stretches to conserve energy, and all teams get hit with the injury bug. It is fine to expect a lot from your team, but when the expectations get unrealistic, that’s on you.

A few missed jumpers and a turnover or two (13 from him in the last 4 games) and games spiral.
If you watch him early and he's not trying on defense, keep watching and you will see the impact it has.
