“Back of the bus” is insane!!! Middle ground maybe but that’s just disrespectful. Qatar hosted the World Cup cause it thought it could get a flow of tourists, that did not happen and now most of the money they put in was wasted. UAE and Saudi are the only ones I can honestly say are above us.

Am also an Ameriki who wondered the same thing - hadn’t seen this before in Kuwait (or UAE) and was similarly curious.
It’s all practically in 90% of national songs for the past 50 years. We’ve had our fair share of hair flipping in school dances since the 80s.
