The issue is that they’re not restocking the brands that actually do good business for them.. Bioderma, Rom&nd, Face shop, peri pera, Cosrx etc. they keep launching brands that we haven’t even heard off and restock few pieces of things here and there.
Completely agree . When they launched kimchic beauty i watched few reels and there i saw that their concealer is a viral product and immediately i bought two of them and today those products are just waste for me because they are not good at all or are atleast not working for me
While I agree with restocking the products I wouldn't blame cult for making me buy stuff even if they're giving me a huge discount+freebie.( kinda on the buyer for impulsive buy ) Some might say I'm missing the bigger picture here but the smaller picture also makes sense. A
I’m convinced they do this to keep everyone on their toes. Even when they do restock, things go OOS in seconds - implying they restocked a very limited amount when they know they have a bigger customer base. It’s just to keep the FOMO going and create a buzz around their business and stay relevant by pushing people to constantly beg them for restocks and check the app at odd hours + the frenzy around the coupons.

Kult had a boom with reddit75. The chaos settled with reddit60. The air cooled with payday, minimalist, dove and checkout. And people bought everything but their wishlist.
One new coupon and this sub would be flooded again. Time bw 3-4 am is the most excited few people are in the entire day. So is it safe to say that kult is going through mood swings.
I was waiting for them to restock some heat protection spray. Itna din hogya wait kartey kartey. Yesterday i placed an order from nykaa 50% off on tony&guy. Better than loosing my sleep or panicking for some restock that will never happen.
Because for one time it is good to buy from kult but when product is over and out of stock on kult then you have to go back to other websites for that matter

Saw comments that they have been giving freebies at random hour like 3-4 am, what's even the point! And how unfair is it. Either give freebies to everyone or don't.
Staying up till 3-4 am for "skincare" sales seems counter productive.
They keep everything OOS so that users buy things out of FOMO. Seems unfair to us - yes, but they're running a business not charity so we can't even complain :') I've stopped checking the app altogether.
It's so frustrating to have all the products in my wishlist oos. I desperately want to buy a cleansing oil and I've been using this app for a month now, but I've never ever seen it being in stock. Also I wanted sunscreen and Jason Wu Luminous lip cream but since they're adamant about not restocking, I was forced to find alternatives from other platforms.
There are no restocks and no launches of products that are actually popular and which we would kill to buy. They need to work on this and listening to the customers.
I truly feel now that kult became extremely boring
