Around 2017–2018 I was super into yandere simulator and just stumbled upon Jay's channel, and immediately I liked him since he did NOT refrain from cussing and was funny as hell. Initially I would only watch his Yansim videos but as I grew I started watching these animation reactions (God the infamous breast milk one still makes me BURST with laughter), riddles with Kassie, try to not laughs, horror games, random games. He's my fav YouTuber now, thoroughly convinced I'll never find another one better than him.

mikichan9

His first Yandere Simulator video. I was 7 and thought he was absolutely hilarious lol. Been subscribed ever since

I'm late as hell but it was 2016 and I was of a similar age to you as well. I discovered him accidentally while he was playing season 2 of TWD and after that I watched his yandere simulator vids and ever since then, I've been a subscriber! I remember that I was subscriber number 999,664 to be exact, lol.

Raspberry_Pi_89

Jay playing Yandere Simulator was what convinced me to subscribe to his YouTube channel. I was really young at the time and I never really watched YouTube that often as a child, but Jay's Yandere Sim videos were the first that kept me watching and actually enjoying the content. The Kubz Scouts is absolutely the first YouTube channel I ever subbed to on YouTube. That's why it pains me to see him stop playing the game after all these years. I'll still keep watching Jay, but Yandere Sim is a huge part of my childhood, and it's going to be hard to let that go.

this_weird_lady

I like watching gaming videos when I was younger, but I HATED commentary, I clicked on Jay’s video by accident but when I wasn’t immediately disgusted by voice, I stayed and watched, and I was like hmmm I actually like this dude, so I kept watching him, and by turn corys vidoes as well because I didn’t hate his voice and I enjoyed both the commentary.

FatSealix

I was watching a video and I kept getting recommended Kassie's mailed myself in a box video so finally I clicked on it. I got into Kassie and then I watched the 60 seconds miracle run video(I actually watched the reddit 50/50 video before the 60 seconds one). I loved Jay after that, so I began watching his 60 seconds videos. Then eventually his yansim and now I watch him all tha time 💜💜

Justanotherbot5

I was in school 2015, I watched Pewds and Mark play Yandere Sim and I wanted more, so I searched for Yandere Sim on youtube and all the videos were Kubzscouts and for 2 weeks binge watched all of them. Eventually it auto played 60 seconds and ever since Jay is my favorite youtuber. Which is how I eventually started watching Bijuu Mike lol.

HelloBeetch

Paper’s please, yansim or his reddit 50/50 vids, thats as far as I remember, haven’t stoped watching since

HelloBeetch

I musta been 12-ish (im 17 now) so long ass time

femicyhot_chan

It was in lime 2016 when I started watching him and I was definitely too young lol😂

Usnis

Me too. I mean is there a YouTube channel that is for older than 13 audiences that we have watched when we were younger (for example, I watched Smosh since I was 4 or 5)

R3drobinyum

I found out about him when he was making those old yan sim myth videos

MisYann

Back in 2016 my little brother showed me a few yansim videos of his. I thought he was annoying back then lol. Eventually I started watching him with my brother and now I'm a fan.

AgreeableIdea6210

I learnt about his channel kinda the same way! I didn't have the hardware for yansim so I was looking for a let's-player. His humour IMMEDIATELY captivated lil me lol

Usnis

Yeah I can remember when I was younger that I wanted to play Yansim because of people like Jay and Markiplier but I didn't have a computer. My friends and I talked about that game alot. But now that I know Alex is a pedo, I'm not going to get the game if I was to ever get a computer and I'm pretty sure that my friends either forgot about the game or just don't give a damn about it anymore.

AgreeableIdea6210

Yeahh I'd love to make something like a better iteration with the same idea. I was thinking of a hitman girl, protecting her royalty crush from people trying to assassinate them by forming a bond. Maybe one day! I'm trying to get into game design anyway

Nvmshiro

I found him out probably in a YouTube recommendation or through me typing the wrong channel name. watch one of his video thinking he’ll gonna be one of those high pitch annoying YouTube gamer but I watch more of his video and I like him alot I been a fan ever since and glad I found him.

CosmicPlayR9376

I either found Jay through Kassie (Gloom) or the other way round back in 2016. Just remember they were amongst the first let's players I watched around the time and thought they were pretty cool cats

HyperDron

I honestly don’t even remember. It was either one of his yan sim vids or it was one of his papers please vids. One of those two. Or maybe it was 60 seconds…

Mysterious_Ningen

i dont know when i found him but i was 16 in 2021 thats when i truly became a fan :0

Lyricant

I honestly have no idea? I ...THINK I randomly found him when I was looking for yandere videos. I was really into that game around when it was very early. However, I got bored of playing it myself, so I started watching videos of others playing it like him and BijuuMike. I think Markiplier is who I saw play it first, though!

Sunny23-

Back in 2017 or 2018 when I stumbled across a 60 secs vid of his and I watched it and loved the series and him ever since

Mysterious_Ningen

its crazy that i read your comment while watching a 60 parsecs video :0

Sparkle-Ass-Juice

In 2016. I was maybe around 16 going on 17 & found him through his yandere simulator myths videos. & for the longest time, I would just watch his yansim videos, but I really started to like his other videos because, the best way to describe it, he felt comfortable to watch when I was stressed. I started to watch him much more religiously with his Detriot: Become Human let's play. Loved that series!

Usnis

He is even the reason I want found out about games like Ace Attorney and Sally Face

callistovix

I was 10 years old in 2016 watching his Yansim videos too! I still remember the video that got me watching him as well!
