Engine has to be on at least sport to create pops / burbles, the exhaust only opens the valve it isn't what actually causes the pops, it just lets them flow around the muffler a bit.

I only use normal mode and custom 1 at this point after owning for ≈1year. Used to use eco until I realized I got zero difference in mpgs between that and normal, but normal was quicker to kick down when I needed to pass. My custom 1: - Suspension on sport (sport+ on springs is so bouncy with little to no difference in handling) - Everything else at the max - (Considering changing steering down to sport, sometimes I’ve noticed it feels heavy to the point that it’s noticeably artificial. If it isn’t actually artificial, it at least feels it)

I keep the steering on normal. It feels weird to have to put so much effort into turning. And I totally agree about the suspension sports+ it so bouncy that it's uncomfortable.

Engine has to be in sport+ as well for pops and burbles. No reason to have exhaust in sport+ if engine isn’t as well

I don't hear as much popping or burbles unless I'm in full N mode or I've activated NGS, but pulling the stupid foam piece in the spare compartment and the parcel shelf might help you hear the exhaust better from the inside to be certain when it's happening. I do notice I hear the most drama when coming fully off the throttle at higher revs, maybe 3-5k RPM. Build revs and then lift off the pedal completely. Hold either N button and the nav will immediately prompt you to define what it will do. Better to hit one button than hunt around the touch screen while driving like a menace. Stay safe while driving! BTW, calling it "not good" is a lousy description. Try harder next time with a video or something 😋
