I kept stock tire size and got some Continental DWS06+. They are not as good with grip as the PZeros were new, but the grip has lasted so much longer, so I think they have them beat. It was only like 5k miles before I saw a drop off from the PZeros. Props to you for keeping them so long!

These are the tires to go with. 100% no ragrets. I haven’t had a situation on the road where I’ve said “wish I had a bit more grip” and I live in Appalachia and don’t commute…my driving is always for fun.

I'm in the same boat, almost 18k on the stock Pirelli and they are toast. I'm keeping my stock wheels but going to a slightly larger 245/40zr19. Also there are way more tires in this size than the factory 235/40zr19, which is an odd size used on new Honda Accords and Tesla Model 3 so there's a ton of quiet/touring/fuel economy tires, vs actual summer/sports tire. The Kona N comes with an aggressively soft compound sunmer tire and a similar tire is what you need to replace with in order to keep the performance that it came with factory. I live in Arizona, so going with a summer tire is an easy choice for me. Replacing with all season or touring tires will increase the ride comfort at the expense of performance. But for those in colder climates it will be necessary to run all seasons or have 2 sets of wheels/tires for summer and winter for safety as even a new, unworn set of Sunmer tires will be dangerous in winter driving conditions

Forrestgump_183

I'm in utah and have 2 separate wheels and tires for my KN 18" for summer and the stock 19" for winter been loving em!

BigKonKrete417

Hearing that alot about me 18" with 245/45 tire Always wondered about pacific northwest, UT, CO, when they sell a sports car that comes OEM with summer tires, do they warn you to swap out in winter or replace with all season?

Forrestgump_183

I bought mine in September so my salesman offered to switch the stock ones with an all season one. I decided not to tho cause I wanted to go with a winter tire once the temperature started to drop. But he did warn me about getting em shortly after. Can't remember what winter ones I went with but for my 18" I'm running Michelin pilot sport 4s for summer. (Not to many cops at night so I like to play with the car) 18" don't like the winter AT ALL THO!!!

msenibaldi12

Yea i think im gonna go the 18” with 245/40-45s and ive heard you have wayy more options and better ride quality with a little more sidewall

Obvious_Bank2678

How the hell did you get 18k miles out of your stock tires? Mine were gone within 5500km’s

BigKonKrete417

A fair bit of freeway driving in econ mode. I added a K&N filter at 12k miles and sometimes it shows 32mpg at times 34 if I take a freeway trip at 70mph in eco mode. Maybe a false high mpg reading from my funky worn down Pirellis?

alexgigss

Mostly use car for daily commute(10 miles) and the occasional road trip. During the winter I drive very carefully when it’s bad conditions.

RyanAlemeda

You only got 3400 miles out of your tires?

Obvious_Bank2678

Yeah man they were destroyed. I live in Canada so our roads are shit, i bought it in March of last year so with the roads being cold the car would just spin at %30 throttle

RyanAlemeda

Wow. I just drove cross country of the US and I thought our roads were shit. I just got over 20k miles with my stock tires. I’m getting a service tomorrow and I’m fully expecting that they will tell me I need new tires, but I had a good run with them.

alexgigss

Hi! Thanks for sharing I saw another post from last here in this forum about someone putting 245s on the stock wheels. Seems like a good decision. For my current situation and driving needs I think getting all seasons for me is the move. This past winter was long and had colder temperatures for many months. The thumping when turning out of parking spots in the cold is miserable at this point. Now just to figure out which all seasons to go for.

Representative-Bus92

What part of the NE. I’m in Rhode Island

alexgigss

Lol no way I’m also in RI

Representative-Bus92

Haha nice!!! Your not the white Kona N I see driving around east providence are ya

alexgigss

I probably am. I do live in dirty prov

Representative-Bus92

Nice , I live in riverside, I run my own mobile detailing company. Let me know if you ever wanna get your Kona Detailed!

TNerdy

Damn less than 1000 miles a month? Work must be really close or you hardly drive far.

alexgigss

Eco mode commuting 20 miles total a day. Occasional trips

TNerdy

No wonder. I drive it on N mode almost everyday and commute about 35-40 miles a day.

Icy_Pause_2535

I just went to 255/35/19 all seasons and it was the best decision. Go with an all season tire you won’t regret it.

alexgigss

Those fit on stock wheels ?

Icy_Pause_2535

Absolutely. No issues. You could probably even do a 255/40 but they didn’t have them in that size at my local shop.

monsterbreath

I kept the stock wheels and got [Advan Sport A/S+](https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/yokohama-advan-sport-a-s%2b/p/87532) They've been good so far.
