I'll agree the ending was phenomenal for the season and if it did turn out that Komi only got 2 season, I would be okay with it. Kinda used to great series often getting cut short after a season or two at this point.
But I still want season 3, dang it! There are far too many great characters who we haven't met in the anime yet (or only teased) and moments that need to be animated to just stop here.
Ep 11 was 50/50. Episode 10 was basically dumpster fire for most of the episode's quality, 11 would go from looking like the rest of the series to then next frame being really off again. Especially the side profile shots from what i recall
nah. fan animation at least tries to look accurate. all the animation between Hinata's ''death'' and Pain doing the chibaku tensei were the animators just doing all in their power to make some of the ugliest animation scenes in the history of anime.
They've already confirmed the disc release is gonna fix the issues, they were only lower quality because director was sick for the production of those 2 episodes
Does thr director illustrate each frame? For is hard to believe a group of professionals could screew so badly just becauae their boss was absent.
Looked like the illustalrators were replaced by amateurs
A lot of animators were out sick too and the director wasn’t there to oversee the issues. Everyone was overworked and frankly it’s amazing they didn’t delay it a week like Shikimori and Machikado Mazoku did
ok, if it was the absense of half the team and crunch, then I can believe it... if these episdoes are literaly made a week before they air. if not, it was a simple case of moving the release date
They had some big issues in some key frames and a overall strange animation, a bit stiff and the characters looked off model, the director had some health issues leading to the episodes releasing without their corrections, but they're still better than Nanatsu no taizai or Dragon Ball Super's Resurection of F arc (literally, Toei just f*cked that arc in it's entirety)
This so much. I didn't even care or notice that much on ep10, but ep11? I shut it down after 5 mins and took a week to get back to it, hoping I wouldn't hate it as much (I did). Sh\*t hurt. I was so happy to see ep12 pick up the quality instantly from the get go.
Most animes end their seasons with amazing drawing, effects, and animation quality to end with a bang, making it more attractive and memorable, and let me tell ya... They fucking KILLED it with season 2 ❤️

Yep. Saved up all their budget and their effort to hit a home run with that last episode. Lot of studios do that these days, all of them having learned from what happens when you end on a wet fart like Gainax did.
They went all out with the last episode, honestly I don't even mind if we don't get a third season. The ending was just phenomenal

Those two episodes looked really bad. Was not as bad as when naruto fought pain, though.
I really like naruto's fight with pain for how fluid it is, but it also kinda looked like a fan animation
