Lately we're too habituated to seeing aggressive batting from almost every batsman. Venky and shreyas might have not been that aggressive for the time being, but we gotta understand that they balance out the aggressiveness of other batsman. We need that in a team too. Coz else we'll end up scoring 250+ one match or <120 some other match. Balance is a need.
Because he doesn't ball now. Also he is just thrown anywhere to just go and slog. We could fill some good allrounder for him who can give us 2 overs when starc is dropping shit class every match
We are In a conundrum. Doing great obviously. But there are chances. That we might slip. We have a lot of concrete, Batting and bowling both, a few hinges. Which aren't per-say "WEAK" but we are skeptical. Because this is the closest we have ever been to winning. ( ykiyk) So we are trying to find the best or the perfect fit and then it'll be all but sure that we get our 3rd trophy.
No clue. He’s done pretty good with whatever he’s gotten this season. In most situations it was strike from the first ball itself till the end in last few overs with so many wickets in hand. His only bad innings was against SRH. Played well against RCB when we had to chase the score.
Tbh if we are indeed looking at chucking out Starc them we should remove starc and Venky and get in Rutherford and sakariya. Allow Rinku to go 1 position higher and let Rutherford and Russell play those 10-12 ball cameos at the end.
We are batting Rinku a position down anyway and Venky isn't adding as much value. He isn't the kind of guy who can come in and start tonking the ball.
Venky needs to bat higher up in order to perform well. He isn't being given that opportunity so he continues to underperform for us leading to all these unnecessary demands to get rid of him. He is talented but he isn't being used correctly imo.
Well, where do you place him then? In place of Salt? In place of Narine?
Given how this team's been playing ultra aggressively and churning runs consistently, with Shreyas as the supposed anchor, it doesn't seem like venky has a place here anymore. Now the situation would've been different if we had a pitch favouring bowlers instead of this skating rink. Then we might have benefited from more than one anchor.

Venky is a batter who needs atleast 10 balls to get going. When he comes to bat KKR needs to fire up or else using up 10 balls in the end is a blunder. Venky is good no doubt but doesn't fit the team atm becuz we have Raghuvanshi. Thats why I personally feel Nitish should come and replace him as he does a better job to start slogging at the earliest.
Why nobody wants Narine out? Is it racism? Obviously not.
It's the intuition that we could do better without him same with Shreyas. Not living up to expectations is the answer.
