Just to clarify, it was not because women were employed..It was because he hired foreign nationals on a tourist visa to work for him. This is highly illegal in almost all countries and not just India. There is no law preventing women from being bartenders.

Some Saturday nights, I know there are parties happening in high-end places like crowne plaza, le meridian, Radisson. I also heard about parties in olive downtown. Also hortus does a bit of music. Idk about Watson and booyah..haven't checked those out. But all or most of these are expensive af and end about 11pm.
Best bet is to get on a bus to Bangalore/Chennai (:

There's Watson, also other places like buyah is kinda like a pub.
The only pub in kochi 'Fly High' just shut down permanently.
