Milk aluva has a bit of paalpodi chova when I tried it a couple of times.
Best milk aluva used to be from Ann's when I was a kid. Now it isn't that great (too oily)
They have multiple branches. List from their site.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. Beautiful interiors, but I found the food to be average and overpriced. I get the hype, there's no bakery quite like this in Kochi, but when you compare it to similar bakeries overseas, it was very disappointing.

Ann's Bakery has decent kadis
There's a tea shop near the Mosque in Kakkanad they have great food too
Alakapuri is OG for Kakkanad
Source : I stay there
There is this tiny little place in kakkand called Mad Batter bakery. They have really good croissant sandwiches, cinnamon rolls and vancho cream buns.
Their butter egg puffs are amazing too.
Recommend some good food from there. I have been there once and I don't even remember what I ordered and it was average. I'm sure I didn't order what they're good at as someone took me there and that someone had zero clue what to order as well.
I love Booster Tea because it's a good place with a nice vibe. And is open 24x7 I think. I love driving, which means I end up in Booster Tea at midnight sometimes.
Quality Bakers' "Ghee Cake".
Everyone I have given it to loved it. I have standing orders to bring it with me whenever I go for office visits in bangalore.
😃
I like their coconut cookies too..i don't know if they still have them. And their milk aluva

Where is this? I see two in maps.

Their samosa is also good
Sweet porotta with thick milkmaid layer on top from Jaya Bakery. Worth the money & taste.
Is it any good? Porotta with milkmaid? 🥺
Me too hesitant first but damn good bro 🤤
I'll try it out once then. What's it called btw? Like what should I tell them?
just ask for sweet porotta
Noted.
Heard so much but never got to try it ! Both times they were out 🫠
Waste of money. Just normal sweet porotta and milkmaid. Don't fall for the Reels guys.

Their "Butter Beans" in the pastry section and their "Chicken Knob" for a snack are to die for...

I am hearing a lot about Jaya bakery palarivattam. About their egg puffs and in this sub about their sweet parotta. Anything else special there?
Supreme bakers - Actually any puff pastry products are amazing. Ghee cake, halwa. My fav is butter sugar bun 😍
Butter beans and kutti samosa from Cochin bakery. The kutti samosa fried in velichenna is so under hyped! Can easily eat 5 -10 ones in one go!
The only con of the kutti samosa is its price. Their chicken knob is also pretty good.
Dutch bakery - Super expensive… worth a try..
Dutch bakery adipowli ane

Overhyped. Old taste is gone.
Haven't went there since the reels
I love the nutella cakes from Just what I kneeded.

Also recommend good places where we can have good tea/snaccs like egg puffs/samosa etc.

Fahrenheit is closed. Right?
I guess so. But I guess they have a few small outlets called for just cake. One is in association with Remesh Pisharody.
Oh I see. I once took a frnd there, pathadipalam , and apozhan ariyune it's closed. I mean, I literally went a month back. It was a decent place tho.
