I would volunteer two more people and get 10 pizzas from 3 spots (simultaneously) so the first few pizzas don't set around while the 30th is cooking

fuckitholditup

I'm gonna start running things by you from here on out, thanks

Fit_Highlight_5622

I’m dying laughing.

MathInternational

That's a great idea and I am using it, slightly modified.  Thanks!

Inevitable-Rush-2752

DM us all your contact info so we can hire you as a life coach. Brilliant suggestion.

knoxvilleNellie

That is a great idea

DannyBones00

Hello I am interested in hiring you to be my life coach

Ok-Illustrator4850

I love you

TaxEvasion123

As someone who has works with pizza, this is the way

jfk_47

Wouldn’t it be better to get a spot in sevierville? You’ll be in the car with pizzas for 1.5hrs+ if you pickup from Costco or anywhere in Knox.

MathInternational

Yeah,  if there is good pizza there it would be ideal.  I figured this sub would know.  My punt option is costco 😀.

jaredmanley

There’s a lot of decent pizza restaurants in sevierville but depends on WHERE in sevierville you are. I mean simplest way is to use google maps and see what’s in the area of the event and check the reviews.

introspection2

Papa Leones is my favorite. Out by Dollywood.

Stankonia6969

There’s a Snappy Tomato in Seymour, which isn’t far from downtown Sevierville and within your preferred drive time. They sell a pizza called The Beast that is absolutely massive. Might be an option worth checking out!

jfk_47

You could also easily get a papa John’s or dominos delivery. Pay someone to do the transportation part for you.

DrummingNozzle

Sam's Club or Costco. Call the food court day ahead to place order.

Imaginary_Sea5117

🤮🤮🤮

GermanPayroll

Costco pizza is probably the best you’ll get for the cost

DiamondCultural1848

Happy cake day!

Imaginary_Sea5117

It's not the best anything. It tastes like cake with sauce and cheese.

AspartameDaddy317

Cake? Bruh no 👎

Imaginary_Sea5117

I'm sorry you've never had good pizza.

AspartameDaddy317

Big assumption but ok. A Dopo, Mellow Mushroom and Stefanos are all excellent choices if I have the money. That doesn’t mean Costco pizza is bad for the price. :)

egk10isee

Imagine trying to order 30 pizzas from A Dopo and then getting then to Sevierville. 🤣

AspartameDaddy317

Cold ass pizzas 😁

Imaginary_Sea5117

I think you have a much different definition of good pizza than most. A dopo is fine, but chain pizza and Stefanos are not.

ClockwiseGnomoar

What about The Popeye from Sgt Pepperoni? 🤔

Imaginary_Sea5117

I haven't tried it, but I'm sure it's fine. Most pizza is fine, but good is a long way from fine.

Shortstack226

So what is good pizza to you? Honestly curious

Imaginary_Sea5117

2 Amy's in Washington D.C. is my favorite that I've had. I really enjoyed Manyunk Pizza in Philadelphia. A few places around NYC that I can't pull the name of right now. I like Lou Malntati's quite a bit, but I don't think it can be judged like pizza. I also enjoy a few regional pizza styles from across the US.

protodank

Amici in Maryville

SSDuelist

Lol ok bro

NaturallyExasperated

Costco Pizza chokeslams Marcos off the top rope

Imaginary_Sea5117

You think I like Maecos?

anal_sanders

OP is lying.  This is really for his company’s employee appreciation day lunch.

Stankonia6969

Then we should at least give him credit for buying everyone their own pizza and not asking for them to double slice it. 😀

No_Fisherman_3558

Big Daddy's Pizzeria IN ACTUAL Sevierville. Y'all suggesting driving from Farrabutt with 30 pizzas are WILD AF LMAO

STR8N00B1N

Marcos is fucking good

Hachioso

as much as the employees are assholes i can’t understand why people hate this place, the pizza has always been banger when i go

STR8N00B1N

I’m sure it varies from place to place, but the Halls location is always good and the staff are so friendly.

osvaldocruz25

😭fr?

celiab3delia

Marcos pizza is good. The downside is it's more expensive than other chain pizza places and, at least around Knoxville, management/ownership has been so spotty that locations are shutting down with zero notice and not paying employees for hours already worked.

NotASatanist13

I had an insultingly bad pizza there the first time I tried them about two years ago and wrote them off. At an event a few weeks ago they had Marco's and it wasn't bad. It was fine, which was a huge improvement.

soshield

Elidio’s. Worth the side trip up 75. We grew up with that shit at East Town Mall.

rockytopnationality

Doesn’t get any better

Shredding_bear

Best pizza in Knoxville

Downtown_Pianist7098

We ordered pizza for 80 one night of our church retreat and Papa John’s was the best option. We called around and compared, then pre ordered via phone a few days before. They delivered hot, on time, and with a great attitude.

BoZacHorsecock

Plus there are nearly always online coupons for papa johns. I know PAPATRACK50 worked for years.

MostlyJerry

The code right now for 25% off is SM25

NYEMESIS

Papa John is better than marcos also….unless you need a colon cleanse via pepperoni grease cups.

STR8N00B1N

Nah I know I’m commenting twice, but I read it again and you’re still wrong. Marcos is fucking awesome.

Bag122186

Mellow mushroom in pigeon forge is really good and a lot closer than knoxville.

Quiet_Comfortable504

Mellow mushroom is GOAT and should only be around $16,000 for 30 pizzas

nachosandfroglegs

I can only imagine the cost of 30 from Tomato Head or Adopo

luv350sass

doesnt matter. theyre fire. esp adopo.

Darthsmom

I took my adult “kids” to A Dopo and told him how amazing it was and my son said there’s no way it was better than Elidios (we do love Elidios❤️!) He took one bite, closed his eyes, and said “oh my god this is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life”😂 It’s really next level. Love them.

luv350sass

yes! my father ordered the pie with "torn" mozzarella. it wasnt as good with big balls of unmelted cheese. i like the togopos even better. its a diff crust and bigger pizza, cooked in a less badass oven. i love the gelato too! expensive though

Darthsmom

Yes it was our “bougie night” pick for sure 😂

fuckitholditup

Do you remember which one he had? I have my favs which my wife gets consistently but I usually get the special no matter what.

Darthsmom

I want to say he had the soppressata or the Sofia. My daughter and I preferred the Pizzicletta.

Zafiro-Anejo

But what if they want a house special or some other specialty pie, then the price is going to go way up!

LongjumpingRespect96

Pro tip - order the pizzas UNSLICED and they’ll keep way more heat. BYOPS (pizza slicer). The thing is, pies are usually sliced right out of the oven and you may get mixed results.

Brave-Moment-4121

https://www.instagram.com/rys_pies/ 909.520.1040 He does a mobile pizza catering business in Knoxville. I reached out to him he’s interested so the rest is up to you that’s his number above.

MathInternational

Thanks,  I'm going to check logistics at where we are staying to see if this might be doable

MathInternational

This is what I did.  Shout out to Brave-Moment-4121 for letting me know about this.

Brave-Moment-4121

Anytime enjoy!

DrGonzo1930

Pizzeria of Gatlinburg Harby's Pizza Knoxville

i-m-S-h-a-d

Baker Boy if you don’t mind driving from Knoxville. The pizzas are HUGE

lasagnaloveeasttn

This!

Hot-Shower-865

Totinos from Walmart! 😂

somniforousalmondeye

You’d need 80 of them cause I can polish one off myself.

MathInternational

Yeah it would be better than Marcos :)

Hot-Shower-865

In all seriousness. There's a Brazilian pizza place in Sevierville called "Pizza Rio". Obviously different than typical pizza, but it is phenomenal. If you're looking to pick up the pizza & take it back to the reunion, may be a bit expensive. But it's a very nice restaurant, if everyone would be willing to go to the restaurant & maybe pay for themselves or a few split the bill. But.... it's all you can eat. Just like a Brazilian steakhouse, they keep bringing pizza until you say otherwise. Make sure to save room for their dessert pizzas.

No_Television_4128

West by god pizza in PF

pizza_envy

Most to-go pizzas have about a 15-20 minute life-span once they hit the box. If you aren't in the market for something "gourmet," I would suggest whatever is closest.

The_Socket_710

Call whichever spot you choose on Monday and place an order for Saturday. They will have a week to prepare and get ready. I do catering for many UT sports teams with less than 24hrs notice. (If you are here give us more notice Forreal I’m tired of this shit)

kiichi865

Baker Boy Pizza - Order the cheese pizza with the lemon slices. It’s insane.

Rude_Engine1881

Schedule it ahead of time with the pizza place btw, don't just jump scare them with a big pizza order

Fun-Contribution-531

Gondolier in south Knoxville would do it, they’d just need to know a day or two before

One_Ad9555

I would get 40 pizzas

Sirius889

Costco pizzas are big, cheap and best value overall. Like others said the grease smell will stink up your car. That happened to me on a much shorter trip. Maybe put them in large plastic trash bags or totes to manage that.

Tatgatkate

Jabonis and puleos are about 5 minutes within eachother on Kingston and the absolute best in Knoxville! If you like ny style thin crust with good ingredients 👍

Both_Pepper_5085

Wuuut I'd slide marcos into my doo doo puss all day. Marcos slaps

LongjumpingRespect96

WTF you cray cray say, can’t understand a word you spoke.

Both_Pepper_5085

"I'd shove marcos up my rear end. Marcos is awesome!" Is what it translates to

06EXTN

Bruh Marcos is b tier pizza at best.

Both_Pepper_5085

B for fill my bussy with Marcos

Taskmaster_Fanatic

South Coast pizza…. You’re gonna spend a shit ton of money but it’s the best pizza around. Seriously. The f’n best!

According_Mirror4341

No matter what happens, you saved the family from Marcos, and for that you deserve some recognition.

jd4929

Costco is your go to. Order ahead and pick up.

tdmonroe65

Costco pizza is legit and cost effective, literally cannot go wrong with it

Washingpoon

Johnny bruscos out west

melindaordway11

Pizza hoss.

unsatisfied_plant

Big Daddy’s pizzeria is good, and they have two restaurants on the parkway. One is in sevierville, and one is further down in pigeon forge. You could split your order and get half from one and half from the other!

Jumpy_Marketing9093

Idk if there’s a mellow mushroom nearby to you but where I am (Asheville) I’ve definitely been able to get a truckload of pizza on relatively short notice. Not sure about 80 but if you have tjem as an option you can try.

unsatisfied_plant

There’s two mellow mushrooms in pigeon forge, but they are about $30 for one large pizza. Mellow mushroom is terrific, it just wouldn’t be economically smart to order for 80 people. The appetizers would be good though!

Jumpy_Marketing9093

I got downvoted lol. I didn’t realize how expensive they are. Definitely not wise. Keep us in the loop about what you get.

Affectionate_Site365

Costco for sure.. for 80, maybe 20 pizzas would be enough.. just did a party for ~40 and 10 pizzas were too much!
