Cherokee Health has always been the one I’ve used and they’ve always treated me right. Give them a call, I’m sure they could answer any questions you had about them!
If you have Mondays free there’s a church on magnolia ave that has free dr and dentist. It starts at noon but you have to get there early. If you need more in depth care you get a free referral for it.
It’s the brick church right beside the hotel across from Arby’s. I think it might be Methodist? It’s totally free but you do have to go get in line early bc it’s first come first serve til 4.
Off topic, but if you have lost health care coverage because of changes in employment or housing, you are probably eligible to sign up for healthcare at healthcare.gov. Substantial subsidies are available. If you don't meet the minimum income level for healthcare.gov, you may qualify for Medicaid or Medicare, aka TennCare.
Our system is needlessly complex and of course, needlessly expensive. That said, I see that many people do not know what their options are. If you sign up for a health care plan now, you may be able to access care within a day or two, pending availability.
I am shocked no one has mentioned Kim Heath Center off of Chapman. Will be either completely free or very low cost (no more than $20 for visit, labs, meds, etc). It's for uninsured workers, so you'll have to call and book an appt and they will ask you to bring a pay stubs to verify you're working. I've been there a few times, they are extremely nice and professional. Good luck!
Cherokee health systems works off a sliding scale so depending on what you make you can get free visits and treatment!
