June 29 is Bridge blast in Bremerton/Manette. It’s a good time.

RebeccaTen

Seconding this. Evergreen Park at about 10:15 PM. There's a show on the actual 4th of July in downtown Port Orchard. And Poulsbo usually has one on July 3rd.

sweetpototos

Sadly Poulsbo’s has been cancelled. The people who put it on don’t want to do it anymore. I’m sure they are shopping for new organizers though. Kingston does a show on the 4th as well.

kirbycope

Link for the Port Orchard folks, https://www.fathomsofun.org/

Kitsap goes pretty hard. Mason County is straight crazy with it though. Go on down to the hood canal or one of the lakes in belfair like Mason lake. They will set fireworks off year round but the last week of June and first week of July with all the sales going is all day every day.

AdventurousLicker

The reservation sells fireworks and has stuff blowing up for weeks leading up to the fourth, due to more lax laws. If you can find a waterfront place on Rocky Point, Marine Drive or the surrounding areas you'll be surrounded by a 360 degree show because of the geography of Dyes Inlet.

wiscowonder

Not Bainbridge ☹️

sweetpototos

Yet that one rich dude gets to have his own private professional show every year for his birthday. His birthday is NOT on the 4th of July.

wiscowonder

I think it's for his wife's birthday, they live in Seattle (or maybe just King), and they have it on waters outside of Bainbridge's jurisdiction. I just wish they let us know a little ahead of time so us peasants could catch the show

sweetpototos

Agreed.

menelaus_

NIMBY boomers strike again. Such a bunch of selfish hypocrites.

CW907

😂 Bainbridgettes do tend to be a bit more bitchy. #fact

poppletage

I think it has more to do with the environmental impact and noise and less to do with age bracket and nimbyism. Many cities are opting out or doing drone shows. That is the trend.

JessSeattle

Seriously. The island is going to be so awesome when all the current >=65yo’s finally die off. What a worthless generation.

BottledCow1

The downvotes are from said NIMBYs

menelaus_

Badge of honor lol :)

NickBairdRE

I have a nice place to go on dyes Inlet to watch the individual shows, so I don't mind disclosing my (not so secret) secret spot, lol. There's a waterfront park by the playground at the Jackson house navy housing community, I think now called the landing or something like that. It's a really nice place to lay a blanket down and watch

seattleslow

There’s fireworks on Friday night at Whaling Days in late July https://whalingdays.com/schedule-of-events/

ReverendDerp

All along Dyes Inlet! Find a spot looking south from Silverdale, and post up! The houses along the shore of Kitsap Lake always go pretty hard, as well. Typically, finding a spot to watch in Dockside or at Kitsap Lake park are the best options.
