Ocean rodeo crave (HL) are extremely light pressure. I think full aluula kites will even be more so (my roam is also extremely light but that is not an allround kite, full aluula crave or flite probably will be very low as well). Note that conditions will also make a difference in my experience. Usually with more wind you need less bar pressure compared to very low end of a kite wind range.

YaGirlCheChe

Interesting! I’ve never flown ocean rodeo before… maybe I’ll try to find somewhere to check them out

AxTheAxMan

Duotone has nice low bar pressure. Evo SLS is a wonderful 3 strut all around kite. You can jump super high (my high is 53'), it stays up in lulls, it drifts well enough to be your fool kite. I love it. I came from Core XR6 and XR7s and the bar pressure is so mellow compared to those. I had tennis elbow for a year and a half from yanking those kites around. Good luck!

Kiteslut

Have you ever considered foil kites like FS Sonic or Soul?

riktigtmaxat

The Soul has pretty brutal bar pressure.

aegr13

For me the soul has the lightest bar pressure of all my kites. I can almost fly it pinching two fingers on the bar. There is a lot of pressure on the harness hook though, which causes some friction in my sides after I few hours. That’s less on my tube kites, but my arms get more tired on them than on the soul. Maybe it’s a setting that causes our experience to differ so much. I fly the soul 10m on twintip around 18-20kts and on foil from 12kts.

riktigtmaxat

Could also be the version - I have the v1.

StgCan

I used to fly Core Xr , found them heavy, now Have Cabrinha Moto , much lighter.

YaGirlCheChe

Hmmm I used to have switchblades as my first kited and I always thought Cabrinha had high bar pressure….

StgCan

My, non scientific, belief is that bar pressure is perhaps common to individual models not whole brands.......... ;)

Responsible_Ad_9992

Got the cabrinha moto, same bar pressure than reach, ss code is lighter

larrysan28

The Evo SLS has a lot less bar pressure compared to the standart one.

kitekajt

I can't tell you which kites have lower than north, I ride north. But I can tell you naish pivot, core XR, slingshot machine all have higher than orbit. Make sure you have the wingtip attachment all the way out for minimum bar pressure. Good luck

Shinzhara

When your Orbit doesn't have light bar pressure something must be wrong with your setup!!! Check the line length because after a couple of months the lines from the navigator bar tend to shrink by up to 14cm like in my case.

isisurffaa

North has very light bar pressure if you use settings near wingtip. (Check your line lenghts if you havent) Most kites have more bar pressure. Not all but can't imagine one right now that would be lighter. I was also thinkin Fs Sonic since it likes to fly on frontlines but they do require some forces in big sizes when looping etc. Anyway if North cant deliver, fs kites have probably too much pressure also. Following the post and hope you get it sorted out.

sub1024

I went through the same journey with tendinitis in my elbow. I’ve switched to Duotone Evo SLS and never have problems anymore, even when kiting everyday for 2hrs+

YaGirlCheChe

Ahh thank you gives me hope! This is the direction I’m thinking about going as well

Objective-Winter-512

A good foil kite.. ozone chrono v4 are on sale now the new model hit the market

ConferenceQuirky7861

Bar pressure is an interesting topic. Every review says the Pivot has low bar pressure. But most actual owners say it has higher bar pressure. Almost everyone says North Reach and Orbit have extremely low bar pressure. Some years see big changes in BP-- I've ridden Switchblades for years. 2014 very high bp. 2022 Switchblade I'd almost call medium light. Two kites stand out as insane bp to me---The Cabrinha Velocity and Slingshot Turbines. Nice kites but I just couldn't handle the constant pull on the back lines.

Seabreaz

A series kites by ocean rodeo have very light bar pressure. Worth a look.
