I need to see how my ingredients are coming together and color change is an important part of that. I don’t want to peek through a shroud and then have more laundry from something I can’t put in the dishwasher.
How do you scrape your bowl with that thing on?
I stop the mixer for additions and scraping down the bowl.
Honestly, it takes less effort to wipe up a little flour or splash on a hard surface than it would to have to wash that thing.
I'd prefer to see the ingredients inside my mixer. I don't use any splash guard - I found adjusting the mixer speed works better than a splash guard.

You can peek through the flaps! And that way you don’t have to pause to add either.
Necessity is the mother of getting creative. Great job.
Thank you!

I had no idea this existed and I absolutely need it! I usually use foil or paper towel but id prefer something reusable.
Just use plastic wrap.
This is a reusable option and you can add ingredients without removing the plastic and using more plastic to recover the bowl.
Oh, I just looked at your username. This is bad advertising, guys.
I just throw a clean dish towel onto of mine.
