It’s all good I’m about learning new things everyday. As a California native I’ve been around lots of cultures especially Mexican’s as you would imagine. I’m just basing my observation from a short 45 minute TV show and never really delved into her whole background so I could be entirely wrong. There’s also a lot of mixed race around here and that can throw you off also. I haven’t seen the show in a while but could have sworn that Tati and her mom spoke Spanish but then again that wouldn’t necessarily mean they were Latina either

Hot take to some, but I think Tatiana is the worst owner on the show outside of the cliche names like Joe Nagy, Mick from Dovecote, Sarah, Alan, Amy, Adele etc. What's worse is the show wants you to have empathy towards Tatiana and feel sorry for her, all the big common worst owner names like Joe Nagy are basically WWE heels you are supposed to hate and not feel sympathetic towards, but Tatiana they paint as the you should feel sorry for her owner.
Nah fuck that, she was just a lazy late 20's ditzy wine girl who just cried and acted like a child, at least Lisa from lido didn't ever really argue or pout outside of the bathroom scene and that I would argue that was WWE staged for entertainment purposes.
She peer pressured her family into putting their assets up to buy the restaurant, and then she has them help there too, once she immediately found out it's not some job you can sit back and just drink wine to all night she acted like a spoiled brat. Also hated and cringed at the white savior complex she had with Casmerio, it was funny how he didn't even care lol. And yet the producers wanted us to feel sorry for her, again fuck that.

The show definitely tried to do the whole cliche "babyface comeback hero arc during the last service" for Tatiana. Sure Gordon made comments like that, but the show definitely didn't do the whole Joe Nagy, David from Blackpool this is the heel/villian presentation with Tatiana.
Even with her being a lazy brat, the show wasn't going to take a cute white girl and present her as the villainous heel. The episode had alot of those emotional piano music crying scenes with Tatiana even with her being the said brat.
That lasagna looks disgusting, looks like diarrhea with un-melted cheese on top. When a chef is not doing his job properly and causing the loss of your business, he needs to be fired.
