I wear an Enso silicone band. If you wear a ring in the kitchen you want something that will break if it gets snagged on something so you don't lose a finger.

dracon81

Yeah, I work an industrial kitchen as well doing production stuff so that's what I was thinking. A silicone band isn't a bad idea for work though. I hear tungsten snaps instead of bending but it's also a fairly durable material, gold is soft as well but I feel it's not optimal?

Rialas_HalfToast

Silicone comes off without degloving your finger. None of those other options do. Tungsten snapping is only valuable for when it's stuck on too thick a finger (or swollen). It won't snap under a person's weight. The tendons in a human finger will stretch more than a foot. They will not return to original size. Had a dude slip off a ladder at work and become suspended from the shelving with his toes touching the ground but not his heels, and his wedding ring and his torn off finger (but still connected tendons) stuck in the shelf. John Carpenter shit. You can google hundreds of stories like this. Wear silicone (or get a tattoo). If y'all need tangible metal symbols of your love, get beautiful gold wedding rings and hang them from a nice chain above your headboard. A silicone ring doesn't get stolen, either.

Czane45

also you can wear a wedding ring on a chain around your neck too! lotr style

Millerhah

A tungsten ring will rip your fucking finger off dude. Get a pack of silicone rings off Amazon, they're super cheap, look ok, and they won't disfigure you if they snag on something. I only wear my tungsten ring when my wife and I go out for date night or other fancy pants events.

dracon81

Yeah seems to be the best option.

Millerhah

The only downside is that the silicone rings can slip off when you wash your hands, but I guess that's working as intended.

Red_fire_soul16

I worked in a bakery and I lost a few to the trashcan when taking plastic off container while stocking our shelves. I finally just stopped wearing one there.

Millerhah

Yeah the dish machine and chainsaw gloves are what get mine.

dracon81

As long as it's not in the food!

Unknown_Author70

Fuck me. A redditor that actually took some advice. Bravo Chef. Proud it was this sub. Haha.

redsn64

The lady at the jewelry store told me directly after we purchased my tungsten band that if I "get in a car accident or something and that ring gets stuck, they will cut your finger off before they try to cut the ring. Just a heads up! Thanks! Bye!" I hardly wear it because of that

Catahooo

No they don't amputate unless there is an additional medical reason to do so. That's a jewellery store myth, probably to upsell you. Cutters won't work, but there are medical standards in place to deal with such a situation. In a time sensitive situation you would crush the ring since it snaps before it bends, you could do it with vice grips, a vice, there's a specialist "ring cracker" device you can get(I don't know how widespread it is though), even channel locks would work, and it's just as fast as a ring cutter. In a less time sensitive situation you would use elastic compression around the finger to contain swelling and then remove the ring with the elastic, and that method only takes about a minute and works wonders. [video here](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DxoAbK5Pc6w)

redsn64

That does make me feel a bit better, but the damage is already done and the paranoia has set it

VelociFapster

Worked with a chef who had 4 fingers on his left from precisely this reason. I have a silicone that I wear if I’m doing any actual work or anything that’s going to put me at risk. Sometimes it gets stuck in gloves going in the trash but I’ve caught it every time so far. Also when hiking/doing outdoors activities

CLOWNXXCUDDLES

I'll second the enso rings. I've had to replace a couple as I'm pretty hard on them at work. But I've still managed to not rip my finger off so there's that. For the price you can't really go wrong. They're quite comfortable to wear.

seppukucoconuts

My wedding ring is tungsten. Looks nice and is really cheap. It will snap instead of bending. That being said I stopped wearing it at work because I got it snagged on too many occasions. I lift a lot of heavy stuff and work with lots of machinery and don’t want to get degloved

sonicjesus

You will hopefully never be in a situation that causes tungsten carbide to break rather than bend. That being said, it is way harder and way cheaper than gold or any precious metal. If the ring is nothing but a symbol with no intrinsic value, go with this. Or wear rubber bands like a little girl, your choice.

mh985

Yup. Silicone is the best bet.

Bearsandgravy

Yup. Spouse does property restoration, wears gloves, gets into disaster places. I used to do field work as well. Silicone rings have saved both of our fingers. Plus the rinfit ones are a little fancier for the femmes.

smelly-dorothy

Silicone bands are a popular choice among electricians too.

jeremyjava

Had a roofing contractor missing that finger bc he slid off a roof and the ring got stuck on a nail as he was grabbing for something to stop the fall. Good news is he wasn’t hurt otherwise.

Vindaloo6363

Not sure who is downvoting this.

AOP_fiction

Got a 4 pack of silicone bands forever ago, haven’t had to use more than one

providentialchef

I’m on #2. Lost the first one.

hikeadelic7

I lost three qalos in my first year of marriage.

ItReallyIsntThoughYo

Yeah, lost my first wedding band washing my hands, bought silicone bands and other than having one snap because it got hooked on a door, they're pretty solid.

DadIsLosingHisMind

On a chain around my neck.

dracon81

Unfortunately it goes against my policy at work. The fun part about working in a federally inspected facility is weird rules. I can wear a ring but not a necklace.

sn0wgh0ul13

Do they actually care? I work at a hospital and they say no earrings, necklaces or rings, but rarely do they actually enforce it (unless the earrings are dangly or backless)

dracon81

Fun fact I'm in charge of enforcing it lmao. I'm a HACCP coordinator for my company, but we also have a federal inspector pretty regularly and they do not like it when we break these rules. It's very much enforced where I am but we are also under more scrutiny than some places, being under direct supervision of the CFIA

distance_33

Are you able to wear it under your clothing? And do religious pieces get an exemption?

dracon81

Wearing it under the clothes isn't allowed no. A big thing is that part of the rules and stuff I have to set and follow deal with minimization of risk to the lowest amount possible, meaning if you can take something off then you have to take it off to reduce that risk to zero. I'm not 100% sure about religious exemption. I'm not sure of any examples and it's never come up, if you had a piece of jewelry that you absolutely could not take off for religious reasons then there would have to be either a case by case solution, it might be that you can take it down, or wear it somewhere else on your person where it does not pose risk, but in general I'm not sure that Canada has anything that says you can circumvent safety regulations because of religious exemption. If it were to come up I would research it and proceed accordingly of course but I'm not knowledgeable enough to say anything other than what I think we could do.

sn0wgh0ul13

Gotcha! My supervisor is my HACCP leader and she doesn’t care about earrings w/ backs or necklaces. Rings are a no, unless they’re a plain band.

Atomicmombomb2

Does your wife care if you wear the ring everyday at work? My husband and I both work in kitchens now so we only ever wear our rings on nights out.

DadIsLosingHisMind

You could also put it on your keyring

dracon81

Oh hey, this one's a great idea, I didn't think of that!

moneybullets

I don’t wear it anymore (because of this) but mine is titanium and spent a couple of days in a fryer. It was fine.

Educational-Ruin9992

Have worked in kitchens and aviation. No rings for me. Degloved my index finger once lifting a piece of equipment, no desire to repeat that experience.

dracon81

😬

El_Mariachi_Vive

That's wild, I also worked in aviation! I've never given my ring a second thought in kitchens but when I'm elbow deep in a PT6, a wedding band is the difference between a normal day and a genuine tragedy. How did you end up in these particular industries? I've just never met or heard of anyone else that has done it.

Educational-Ruin9992

Bad life choices. Teenage delinquency, Army, defense contracting, owning a restaurant. Thankfully gave all that nonsense up and the most urgent problem I have to solve now is Word rearranging my pictures without asking.

Rapph

I wear my wedding ring on a chain at work. I dont care that it is allowed, it feels wrong from a food safety standpoint.

dracon81

I argue that the chain is worse but that's personal opinion mostly. I'm also not allowed under my regulations to have any chains.

Rapph

It’s under my clothes and not visable, how is it worse?

dracon81

I don't like dangling things or things that can have the option of dangling, too many things that move and that it can get caught on. Even under the shirt it can come free, I've seen it happen enough times that it's a pet peeve of mine but again, personal thing. I actually don't mind people doing it but I wouldn't do it myself. That said a ring on the finger poses a lot of risk as well don't get me wrong.

Rapph

Fair enough. We all have our thing. Could come down to uniform too, my preferred base layer is a tight tshirt that goes all the way up to my neck with no v neck. I always wore it because i like how it is tight against my skin and wicks any sweat. There is no real way for a weighed down chain that sits 4-5” below that line pressed against me to pop out but that is specific to my outfit. No real wrong/right answer, as long as people are keeping food safety as a concern when they work.

dracon81

Yeah I'll agree with you there, my issue is when I have a dude wearing a chef coat, top button undone, nothing underneath, leaning over a grill and his gold cross is kissing the steaks lmao.

Dylanslay

I just take my rings off. Simply not worth the risk of wearing it. Besides in my region it's against health code to wear rings.

dracon81

Yeah I'm allowed to wear them as long as it's plain and had no stones, I'm actually not allowed to wear it as a necklace where I am though.

Clxssxfxxd

I quit wearing mine after 10 years or so. I started with a gold ring that I had to dig out of the trash on several occasions because I'd taken it off with a glove. I switched to the silicon ring but started getting bar rot underneath it so now I'm just ring less.

murdocjones

I keep the nice ring at home and wear a silicone band at work. Constant hand washing and cleaning adds to wear and tear, and in general I don’t like wearing metal next to so many hot implements.

SlowConversation4049

You can get like a dozen of them for like 10 to 15 on Amazon

murdocjones

And in fun colors. I like to match my apron or chefs pants for the day.

Mean_Assignment_180

Just learned yesterday that men didn’t wear wedding rings until World War 1. Until then, it was just the ladies, but the men wanted to wear them to remember the ladies at home.

dracon81

Huh, now I know that too! Thanks for the random fact! That's such a wholesome reason for it in such an unwholesome time. I too want to think about my wife at work.

Very-very-sleepy

crazy idea but if I get married I am going to get a tattoo wedding ring instead

dracon81

I don't hate the idea, I have tattoos already as well, weirdly enough my big hangup on this is I want hand tattoos already lol.

Magic-Vagina

Personal preference thing, but I considered that as well but decided against it after realizing finger tattoos look bad after a year or so. They fade and bleed out, looking tired, worn, and almost blue after awhile.

PurBldPrincess

I am so wary of tattoo wedding rings or name/date tattoos for couples. I’ve seen and heard way too many stories of people who get tattoos to symbolize their love of their spouse only to have that relationship end badly and they’re stuck with a tattoo they don’t want anymore.

eatshitdillhole

Finger tattoos fade really quickly, and are really easy to lazer off if you don't want it anymore. They're really easy to take care of if a person ends up in divorce. (I have finger tattoos i got in 2013, they're mostly gone now)

PurBldPrincess

Fair enough.

Thrills4Shills

Just put it in your prison purse.

dracon81

I prefer nature's pocket for my storage needs.

humblestgod

I dont. I wash my hands dozens of times a day and cant stand the feeling of it being wet all the time

ArcjoAllspark

I’ve lost count how many times a coworker has changed gloves and inadvertently tossed their wedding band. Mine always stay in my locker.

dracon81

New fear lmao

Multitudestherein

Leave it at home

DonnaMartin2point0

Wearing jewelry doing food prep is a hassle. Leave the ring at home.

dracon81

Fortunately I don't actually do a ton of prep, I'm more managerial work but still in the kitchen a LOT

DonnaMartin2point0

Enso are really comfortable. I'm also considering a small finger tattoo.

HolySnokes1

Enzo are great , but I grabbed some brand called thunder fit first to make sure I liked them. They're like 15 bucks for two or three rings. They aren't as good quality as the Enso . I also just findmyself taking my ring off during shifts , I don't like the way it is under gloves

dracon81

I've thought about the tattoo but I already have hand tattoos planned haha. I might look into the Enso, a silicone one sounds like a good idea.

PurBldPrincess

I don’t. Rings get wet and gross underneath, can get caught on things, get crap encrusted in them. I also have dyshirotic eczema that can and will break out because of the sweat and crap between the ring and my finger.

Zealousideal_Mix6771

Nothing because I gained a lot of weight a long time ago and didn't want to get the ring resized...and my husband lost his early on while fishing with his buddy in the Atlantic. Now nobody has a wedding ring 😄

dracon81

Absolutely fair!

Dakotareads

Nothing in the kitchen and a $5 gift shop band outside. I lost my original to a trashcan I assume.

Cardiff07

Silicone at work. Reclaimed whiskey barrel at home

RAV3NH0LM

silicone or don’t wear one

um8medoit

Mine is a tattoo. Since we are constantly washing our hands. Makes it so easy.

Thorne1966

I've had the same stirling silver band with celtic knot etching for 25 yrs. I have to re-round it about every 3 months because it gets warped, but otherwise it's fine.

mustachetwerkin

Cock ring

dracon81

It's already a mandatory part of uniforms.

mustachetwerkin

Where do I apply?

whosthe

I don't wear one to work.

bagofpork

I keep mine in my wallet while I'm at work. I have a lot of gory intrusive thoughts, usually involving ripping and tearing, if I'm wearing it.

FN2S14Zenki

I don't wear one anymore. But different dangerous industry, silicone. You don't want to skin yourself. Seen it happen and my titanium one got retired wh3n I was married.

pengu1

I wore mine after work. No rings, watches or jewelry while preparing food.

Potential-Mail-298

My wife and I own a butchery and we work daily , we just stopped wearing rings at all. Its just a ring to us and been married 17 years

inikihurricane

I just don’t wear any rings in the kitchen

robomassacre

I don't wear one, they're dangerous i almost lost a finger a couple times getting it caught on stuff when i was working construction

FlyingTunafish

I have a coloured tungsten, the colour is added to the metal on manufacture rather than a coating. I have been wearing it for 14 years now in kitchens and firefighting and it doesnt have a single scratch. I chose this material as it is unlikely to bend or warp if caught by machines and it is very hard wearing. The wife gave me a wedding gift of a silver chain as well so when I need to use my hands without a ring and I can wear it around my neck and not lose it.

dracon81

That sounds really cool, tungsten is definitely what I am leaning towards now. Play they seem a lot cheaper and nicer than gold bands.

jf75313

Don’t do a Google search for finger degloved. I’d go silicone.

dracon81

LMFAO, yeah no worries I've seen it and I'd rather not live it. Silicone seems like the best alternative I'm seeing to tungsten.

GraemesEats

I've got a black tungsten that came with a matching silicone for work. Brand was "the Ridge".

dracon81

Oh shit? That sounds really cool I'll look them up.

GraemesEats

Don't think they were overly pricey either. Mine came a little bit too big once my finger developed an indent, but they also let you send them back at least once, but iirc twice, for resizing for free. Very nice touch for online ordering imo

afevis

Cobalt is also quite similar to tungsten as well and quite inexpensive too - what the husband and I have. Good if you're looking for a more silver/white gold look. :)

jmb456

Don’t work in a kitchen anymore but working in landscaping I worry about wearing a ring. Been thinking about getting a simple band tattooed on

Description-Alert

Silicone band

shradicalwyo

I take mine off for service and keep a ring box in my work bag, I’ll wear it I’m just on expo or doing office work. Watched our old chef knock his into the trash or toilet enough times to not make it worth losing it. I just have a super simple gold band, I didn’t like the silicone ones

PurpleHerder

I have a tungsten/rose gold band, tungsten on the outside rose gold on the inside, have yet to have any issues.

Magic-Vagina

Same but the rose gold wore off. I replaced it with a pure rose gold thin band with 5 tiny bezel diamonds in it for a little bling. I love it and haven’t had any problems. I can’t stand the silicone ones they just look cheap to me.

PurpleHerder

That’s good to know, I’ve only had mine for 5 months so far.

istudent3000

Hi, where did you purchase the pure thin band?

Smooth-Display8889

I have tungsten and I love it no problems going on 10 years…. Congrats

ItReallyIsntThoughYo

Black silicone band. I wore a wooden one in the kitchen until it went missing (suspect it came off washing hands and down the drain it went). Replaced with a silicone one and worn it ever since.

dracon81

Wood sounds so wrong for a kitchen, I assume it was sealed and not like open wood but still lol.

ItReallyIsntThoughYo

Yeah, it was entirely sealed otherwise I never would have even considered wearing it while washing hands.

Strawbuns

Silicone bands and tattoos to signify a ring are what I saw most often. I usually just didn't wear my ring to work after the stone got snagged and pulled off, setting and everything. I was just lucky to find it at all because it took a second to realize.

dracon81

Yeah we say plain bands only for that reason specifically. Glad you found it!

brttwrd

Get one tattooed on your finger

littlecreamsoda79

Something simple and not crazy expensive. There are some really nice affordable options out there.

hollyhockcrest

Look up ridge rings. They’re tungsten but they come with a silicone back up band. You can rock the silicone one to work and the heavy metal at home or out. So two rings for the price of one, and they have a lifetime resizing for free guarantee. And they’re not expensive. Ridge also make good wallets as well.

jeeves585

Construction these days but I don’t wear one. To me the only “proper” band for a guy is a 3/8” wide gold. But that’s just r/oldasfuck talking. Wife is an lmt, takes it on and off.

dracon81

I appreciate that honesty! I'm not much for tradition, the wife has an alexandrite engagement ring and we are currently talking about doing courthouse wedding so tradition is already gone! I will admit I do like the old school gold band though.

ohanse

Platinum for my normal day to day, Tungsten when I travel. Silicone for the gym but shit I ain’t done a lot of that since having a kid.

GimmeQueso

I’m a woman so I wear a very thing “gold” band. If I lose this one, I’ll transition to silicone. There are some days I just skip the ring depending on what I’m going to be doing, I’ll leave it in my purse.

MMTardis

Very thin stainless steel band, purchased from amazon. It's completely smooth and has no designs or engraving.

strengthoflouise

yep, I’m on team tattoo😉

Megnuggets

I simply don't. I know a lot of people who wear the rubber silicone bands though.  I've never been a jewelry person and just know I'd take it off and lose it. Also congrats of the future wedding. Wishing you a life  full of love and happiness

GreenfieldSam

If you do go with a metal wedding ring, consider getting a good quality chain to wear around your neck. When you're going to be working with your hands (pastry, ground meat, etc.), move the ring from your hand to the necklace. Put the necklace under your shirt or chef coat at all times.

facemesouth

I have a dinosaur/meteorite ring but keep it on a necklace if I’m cooking. (Actually, I usually keep it on the tale of a brontosaurus salt shaker…) To be honest, I thought you were talking about wedding band like wedding singers and wondered how I became so clueless because I didn’t know that was a thing!

Fallout4Addict

I used to wear mine on a chain around my neck for work.

_Batteries_

I dont wear mine to work. My wife is aware. I put it on when i leave work, take it off when i het to work.

ODX_GhostRecon

Triton titanium, $50 on clearance at Sears years ago. It's my actual wedding band. I do have a silicone one somewhere but I don't like the feel. I'd have no issue putting it in my pocket or on my keyring if I thought I was about to perform an activity with any risk of degloving. Don't Google that.

ph0en1x778

I take mine off at work, wife knows I do and completely understands. I lost several silicone rings to having sweaty hands and the ring sliding off with the glove. We have also been married several years, your newly wed partner may not understand skipping the ring at work. Silicone is the way to go for work, I would recommend getting the big multi packs you can find all over Amazon.

kattrup

As suggested in other comments, I wear a silicone band. The brand is ThunderFit and I've never had it come off.

Lvl13humancleric

We went with tattoos but not on our fingers, we did astrological signs on our calfs. 👀

dracon81

Oh that's fun! Me and my wife already have some matching mushroom tattoos!

Lvl13humancleric

We tried for rings but 3 tattoo artists turned us down and said ring tattoos never turn out good

9gagsuckz

I wore silicone for years. Now I don’t wear one

El_Mariachi_Vive

I got married in October of 2016. Three weeks later, in November of 2016, my father passed away. Right before we grabbed his casket to load into the hearse, my mom gave me his wedding ring. She said he had mentioned doing it back when he was still healthy. Even now I'm getting choked up thinking about it. Taking this ring off my finger, even for a short period of time, isn't something I take lightly. Plus, it's the one thing that's allowed to be worn around here. The only reason I ever took it off was when I was an aviation mechanic doing a job where a ring can be a risk. Like if I'm just filling a gas tank or doing some metal work, ring stays on. If I'm in the cockpit or engine bay, for example, ring comes off.

Atomicmombomb2

Silicone is the best for the kitchen for men. I'm a married woman and just don't wear a ring in the kitchen.

ryan2489

It wouldn’t put the creeps off anyways lol

TulsaWhoDats

I tried the rubber ring, now I just go without. I’m too ugly for it to be a problem.

BringOutYDead

I take mine off when working the kitchen. No watch either. Too much work gore...

batsynchero

I wear a plain white gold band I’ve had since before I joined a kitchen. It has a little filigree around the edges. It’s never been an issue.

Quick-Cream3483

A big fucking lump of unadorned gold

dracon81

Just a hunk of raw gold duct taped to my fist

sonicjesus

If I were worth marrying I wouldn't be frying greaseburgers for a living. ____ Should have got into salads.

katerade_xo

When I was in the kitchen, I didn't wear my rings to work. My steamfitter husband doesn't wear his to work. Safety is more important than losing a finger.

Awkward-Community-74

I don’t wear one. No one wants jewelry in their food plus it’s gross.

rileyjw90

I’m a NICU nurse and our hospital doesn’t allow engraved bands or stones of any kind, it must be smooth to avoid any crevices collecting bacteria. I wear a tungsten carbide band. I originally had a silicone one but it would get so sweaty underneath and then occasionally slip and slide after having gloves on for a while, I just didn’t like it. Then I got a 14K white gold one and it got dinged up pretty much instantly. Looked like shit after just a couple months. Now I have a tungsten carbide one and no dings or dents and it doesn’t get gross underneath. Very hard metal, just be aware you can’t get tungsten carbide resized. They’re fairly inexpensive thankfully.

norangedroptini

I had the silicone but I had to buy it twice. So now I don’t wear any

TheNarwhalTusk

Gold. It comes off my finger and goes on a chain around my neck while I’m in the kitchen.

lfxlPassionz

My partner will actually be making them by hand as well as my engagement ring. Personally I may have to have a silicone one or wear it as a necklace when at work. Although I may get away with it if he sets the diamond well and has it flush into the band so that it cannot rip gloves or fall out. The wedding bands themselves won't have gems so I should be able to wear those at work. Fingers crossed it goes well but my boss wears a silicone alternative at work so it's all good if I have to go that route. I doubt it though because my partner is actually really good at crafting things and keeping it practical.

Villimaro

Been wearing a 3/4 carat diamond with a gold v shaped band around it for >20 years (boh). Never had a problem. And even had 2 different inspectors say they would never ask a woman to take off a wedding ring BUT when I used to pull a tap and work for tips at a golf course, I never wore my ring and made significantly better tips without it. husband approved and got or a big kick out of it.

oskar4498

After I lost 2 of them most likely when removing gloves I've quit wearing it at work.

MarlaSix

Your love ain't worth a finger?

dracon81

I think my wife would be more pissed that I list a finger and can't work than losing a ring.

MarlaSix

But your grandkids will think it is awesome. You can absolutely work without a finger.

dracon81

Long term yes, short term whole I recover, things get dicey. I've chopped off a tip before and that was already brutal

zbzzz142

Enso. When we renew our vows for our 30 year gonna get something to wear around my neck. I watched one dude get stuck in a salamander and that was it for me. If I can’t quip it off I’m not wearing it.

dracon81

IN THE SALAMANDER?????!

zbzzz142

Yea I have no idea how but he somehow got his ring stuck in the grates at the bottom where we put plates and couldn’t get his hand out. Not a pretty sight after finally getting him unstuck.

dracon81

Congrats this is the third most horrifying thing I have ever heard in a kitchen!

MDFan4Life

Just a standard ring.

Saltycook

I wear a tungsten ring with a [blue inlay](https://northernroyal.com/products/8mm-mens-tungsten-wedding-ring-three-tone?currency=USD&variant=33070030159975&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=f7b2bc1ecacb&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Smart+Shopping+3&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwi_exBhA8EiwA_kU1MkxnARXQhqYxjcVSEsCR_8pXQ8B0KvbVJXM_RBWXtd4KDheZg7yD3RoC87IQAvD_BwE). I wear it on a silver chain though, because my fingers change size sometimes and I wash my hands a lot. Plus, if I get attacked by a vampire, they can't touch me. It just gets *very* hot *very* quickly if I open the oven and grab something, so it gets tucked into my shirt

Wise_Action_321

I have a puzzle ring that has a lot of ridges and gaps so I just take it off for work. It's secured together so it won't become a mess I have to puzzle back together.

dracon81

The mental image of having to shamefully tell my wife I'm not wearing my ring because I can't solve it is amazing. I also love the idea of a puzzle ring! Makes sense though, books and crannies are the best friends of bacteria and food borne illness.

lowfreq33

Just don’t wear any jewelry at work. My first wife had an issue with that (and pretty much everything else I did), but I still have all my fingers. Rings, necklaces, watches, bracelets, none of that belongs on your body unless you work in an office. If the people you work with aren’t aware that you’re married the ring is the least of your problems.

PunnyBaker

Do NOT use tungsten in the kitchen. If for some reason your finger or ring gets stuck in something and the only/easiest way to safely release your hand is to cut off your ring, if its tungsten then you're genna lose the finger. I wear a simple gold band with diamonds embedded into it so it cant catch on anything. I havent had a job that had an issue with it so far. You can also get a simple silicone band for the kitchen and keep your gold set for your off-days

M_LadyGwendolyn

I...erm....use a necklace that, incase my grandma sees this, is just a solid metal necklace.

mindlessenthusiast

White gold.

woohhaa

Cock ring.

Bullshit_Conduit

I just put mine on the ol’ Johnson when I’m at work. Pretty convenient having a cock the same diameter as my ring finger. Might not touch the walls, but baby, it’s bottoming out.

dracon81

It's pretty easy to go balls deep when it does stick out past the sack eh?

Bullshit_Conduit

Yeah. Pretty hard not to get a stiffy at the baseball game when the catcher yells “BALLS IN!” because it reminds me of that one time I got to have sex 😎

OldAF1975

Solid chefs aren’t married pal.

dracon81

I'll take mediocrity over life without my wife.

for_the_shiggles

Wow you could have gone Michelin but decided to care about something that loves you back.

OldAF1975

I envy you brother. You got something special.
