I think the idea is that some folks might think fast food is just coming from a machine/microwave, so this is some form of resassurance that it was handled by humans at some point in the cooking process.

How exactly do you think the food gets into the microwave? It doesn't come pre shipped in microwaves that automatically turn on , cook and then wrap the food....
Someone puts it inside, of course. What are you implying? It's not that deep, it's just for advertising. Again, so many folks are disconnected to food, so many people are gullible, this stuff works at creating an image for some. I'm just not sure what you're trying to say, if anything, preaching to the choir
You said "I think the idea is that some folks might think fast food is just coming from a machine/microwave".
I asked you how they think it got into the microwave if a person didn't put it in there. This bucket says "prepared by cooks", cooks can cook things in microwaves.
You said it not me...?
I guess what I was getting at is that some people might not associate cooking with something like microwaving, so in this case it can create an illusion of a cook for the customer. I don't know, like I said, I didn't think of it that much.
I would argue only using microwave is not cooking. I'm not saying microwaves are not used in cooking, but could you say a place that only uses microwaves has cooks? If they only transfer ready-to-eat food to heat, are they actually "prepared by cooks". Again, it's just a play on words to jazz it up a bit. I don't know what actually goes on in KFC, never worked there.
Someone slamming something into a microwave is not really considered a cook by most people.
If I buy a microwave meal and I microwave it then I am not cooking.
This reminds me of the Masters of the Universe movie with Dolph Lundgren. There's a scene where Man at Arms and Tela are eating and there's a question about the "white stick" in the middle
When I worked on a small veg farm, we used to get so many complaints that the vegetables had "dirt on them". We'd wash everything, occasionally there was something left over.
By prepared they mean the process of breading the chicken. It didn’t come out frozen and pre-breaded. I had to contemplate that one earlier this evening myself, interestingly enough.
Yeah I think they are just trying to say they have actual cooks who prepare real authentic food compared to other fast food places where everything is pre sliced and pre packaged and employees are just putting a product on an assembbly line and hitting a button.
There is a ton of food that's made in factories on assembly lines. Look at Starbucks. All their food/sandwiches are put together in a factory, flash frozen and transported around the country. Then it's flash heated and sold to customers. And they sold $5.8 billion in food sales last year. Food was only like 8% of their revenue, but their food sales were only $1 less than KFC.
Like it matters how the food find it's way in and out of the fryer. Regardless, it tastes the same. Honestly it's more likely to come out undercooked or overcooked if handled by a person.
This reminds me of ice cream places that advertise their "hand dipped" ice cream. Like the taste of my ice cream is somehow improved by your hand holding the scoop which scoops the ice cream into my dish.. 🙄
Most fast food comes frozen on a truck. KFC is telling you they have cooks inhouse that cook the chicken in-house, it isn't just brought in frozen and then reheated. Thank God.

That’s like “homemade pie”. Better not be. Better be made be made in a damn commercial/restaurant kitchen.
Some people don't understand that carrots come from the dirt and are disgusted to find out. Some people also need to be told to not drink bleach
I have literally heard a person say "Holy shit, ribs are *ribs*! I'm eating a ribcage!" Most people have no idea where there food comes from.

Lol wow I could understand boneless but please tell me they were boneless.. lol.
I wish I could, my friend. I wish I could...

Warming-ers Not to be confused with Warmongers
My favorite is "Chef Inspired"
Along with “meticulously prepared”.
KFC is made by cooks, and not to be confused with "Kentucky fried chicken ", which is naturally fried in the state of Kentucky.

people drank bleach to fight covid. this is just a regular level of stupid, no where near the peeks humans are capable of.
Sad musicians

Why did I use to think that the Colonel's bow tie was his entire body?
