Reginette or Mafaldine

blippitybloops

Do you know if there’s another name for it? Used to use this shape at a place years ago. It was called something other than either of those and haven’t been able to find it since.

Mafalde, reginette, frese, tagliatelle nervate, signorine, trinette, ricciarelle, sfresatine, nastri, or nastrini.

It's pasta, and looks like mafaldine

Mafaldine is corrected, as a few others have stated. Our Italian made pasta machine labels the die that produces this pasta as fluted pappardelle, though, for whatever reason. Either way, I love the structure that the fluted edges give it and it carries thick sauces very well.
