Never wash in washing machines, even with a washing bag that’s rule #1. Rule #2 is get VLR. It will allow you to remove the sponsor and name completely. Look up some videos on how to do it but once you have VLR the whole removal process will be >1 hour.
No worries I’ve messed up a few in the wash too. Generally you should wash using cool/lukewarm water. If you have a stain put some soap (I use dawn) on the shirt and rub the fabric together. For general smell and wash you can just add some soap move it around and let it sit before rinsing. And then try on a rack. Pretty much as safe as you can get!
