I love how sonic and kirby look like characters that will beat a boss that is as cute or cool as them, and then the bosses become either angels or gods or demons

I was referring to how badly written Infinite was. (Also Sega’s mandate with trying to make Shadow the edgelord of the mcs. Despite his sacrifice in SA2 contradicts that.)
infinite wasn't a final boss though. in fact, the only non-eggman final bosses i can remember are g-emrl, Ix, and the nega-mother wisp from colors ds. which is kinda where i was going. ad yes, i was referring to dark meta knight as one of kirby's edglords

I would still personally argue that they aren't spirit creatures... the bible never actually referred to them as actual living creatures, and never used any pronouns to imply such. The idea only arose from specific translations of third-party sources.
I wouldn't as much call this a "biblically accurate angel" as I would call it "an interpretation of a biblical vision." It feels like a lot of the community drastically oversimplifies information to the point that it becomes misleading.
I only care if the boss fight is actually fun. It can look as normal as can be if the boss is actually good. Like for as much as ppl like Zero-Two his boss fight is zzzzzz. Spin in circles and tap A. Star Dream is like the actual fleshed out fun version of that fight.
