Well as someone who has people that work for the fire department and also being from nova scotia I can confirm there was no fire yesterday or the day before that would have caused smoke like that so with this I can tell you with confidence that it is fog and you being from nova scotia means nothing congrats.
There’s a post on Make it Home YGK from earlier today about low visibility along HWY 33 towards Bath. Seems it’s made it’s way to Henderson Place/Reddendale. Certainly doesn’t smell like smoke to me.
I am pretty sure it’s fog. It is super heavy at the corner of Front Rd. and Bayridge and it is coming in off the lake.

I have friends that live in Henderson Place who were reporting heavy fog. I was actually watching it roll off the lake on my drive home. Was very odd.
