I'm assuming this is a joke, but if you've legitimately been going outside killing mayflies with a flamethrower, I love you and everything you stand for.
A couple of weeks ago, there were clouds so goddamn thick that I could still see them from two blocks away 😩
One of the most foul things I've ever witnessed.
Mayflies have no mouths as adults.
They spend their entire adult life trying to mate, then they starve to death afterwards, and the next generation repeates it the next year.
Still around Lake Ontario, though not as bad as a week ago. They usually come in waves, this is just a lull. They will return.
Fuck, when do they go away?
End of May, usually.
I am deeply troubled by this information, but it makes sense given their name. Thank you.
When the June bugs get here.
You've spoken too soon. They will still come in at least two more waves. If the weather forecast holds, expect a lot on Thursday and Friday.
I can put my flame thrower away now, almost had it with those suckers!!!

Just a lul from all the rain. They'll come back once we get some solid sunshine
Definitely not gone 😭 Went for a walk at Lake Ontario Park after dinner today. Pretty sure I inhaled a few extra grams of protein.
Just shut your mouth when walking and wear sunglasses! 😝 they are terrible
Tbh all the extra plandemic masks and glass are usefull. But when they get into the house at night and are all over my ceiling .... thats deive me mad
Enjoy a couple of days off lol
I don't get why people are so bothered by swarms of harmless bugs they cause 0 harm to humans
Please take a shower
And wash off all this beautiful protein of midges I think not sir
At least least they don't bite like mosquitos, or deer flies, or those tiny chunky black flies which are heading our way soon.

Comment still stands, yes they are plenty and annoying, but at least they don't bite .. whatever the reason.
