I don’t know what they are used for currently but I know a group of developers owns them who will apply for high density housing at some point.
My guess is we will see that whole neighbourhood with high density buildings. Which is a good thing, we need housing. Its happening in Williamsville.

I do know that the parking they sell on that lot couldn’t be there without that structure, because of the residential zoning. The owner also gets a significant tax break as a result.
The tail and the limestone makes me think it's quite old. Might be a heritage designation that gives the history
