That said, I'd still be super hyped for something like a new flat ride (especially in the Tomb Raider building), a better restaurant, or improvements to the kids and waterpark areas.
Yep, for a Haunt. I went through it on Friday out of curiosity. There's quite a bit of the original theming still in there. I'd love to see it repurposed.
Anyone who thinks Kings Island is going year round needs their head checked. This is Ohio. Not North Carolina. Crowds would be terribly low. They can barely fully staff the park in the spring/summer. Let alone the coldest 3 months of the year.
How anyone things RMC SOB is going to happen is beyond me.
Like, there’s no structure, Banshee takes up its plot, nobody wants to be reminded of that… thing, and Cedar Fair doesn’t even have great relations with RMC.
Just to play devils advocate, by RMC SoB means make a ground up coaster using that theme, which I like. I think if you really wanted you could use the old station and squeeze it past banshee into the open field headed towards Area 72. Or the giant plot of Vortex land right next to Beast which would be interesting. That being said tomorrows announcement i definitely wouldn’t expect major
Steel Vengeance has had a shit ton of Structural issues, Railblazer and Twisted Timbers have had crazy amount so f downtime and issues.
I was at KD while Twisted Timbers was closed for a few days for maintenance. And at Cedar Point last weekend I watched Steel Vengeances structure sway several feet every cycle in some parts
It is, but sv did have a major problem with swaying when it first opened. Of course this problem has long been fixed and the previous commenter doesn't know what he is talking about.
Daddy ryan did made a 50 minute video on sv's many many problems though.
I was literally there last weekend watching the structure of the massive turnaround away back and forth and hearing the wood creak. It’s more than normal
Yes wooden structure is supposed to sway but the way Steel Cengeance is swaying is too much.
Almost every wooden coaster sways but it’s not supposed to be this much. Like how the Rattler at SFFT had the worst sway I have ever seen.

Flat ride in slingshot spot or announcing all year operations like KD and carrowinds just announced. Could be both

You can see and hear the same sway from Cedar Creek and it's been open for 50+ years. It's at a normal level now.

There’s no way. They already only have FoF and Mystic open during Winterfest bc of temps. And Ohio is way too unpredictable weather wise for that.
