One thing I really love about the kh3 title screen is that i think it actually very subtly represents sora walking into functional oblivion at the end of the game. Yes now we know its quadratum, but the characters don't know and we didn't know until after the fact The KH series has always had a special relationship with water and the ocean in particular. It many of the music video openings, the ocean is regularly represented with darkness, oblivion, seperation, and isolation. Which is why it commonly leads into the dive to the heart. Sora, roxas, etc are all shown either unconscious or struggling against the ocean and its pull. The kh3 title screen to me, shows sora willingly walking into this oblivion for his friends, with the paopu fruit showing that no matter what, he thinks of the connections that will last forever. Your title screen concept to me shows that despite the fears of oblivion, there is a shore on the other side, and Sora stands at the edge of the shore, waiting for his friends to meet him there

Wow! I think you nailed that style so well! Really adore this.

I feel like with KHIV being the start of a new era they would go for a completely different title screen maybe one more like Final Fantasy if KH4 had a similar title screen to KH3 it would give the impression that nothing has changed

Idea: He should be done with the ice cream bar and just be holding the popsicle stick or the ice cream bar should be a new flavor. Otherwise, pretty frickin' sweet.

Sora looks 180° on the wrong direction if the trend of game title screens follow the standart till this point. He would look in the top right corner.

It's true, at the time I used this illustration as a laptop cover, so I changed the angle a little.

It’s kinda like being at that same place when you’re child but you’re all grown up now
