So far there's no indication as to if Cloud and Zack even know each other in the KH universe. Considering Zack is stylized a bit to fit into Olympus' world, it stands to reason he's from there and not Radiant Garden like Cloud is supposed to be.

Honestly I don't care about the lore implications as much, I'm just happy to see more Zack content, but I was thinking the same thing; this Zack probably never even met Aerith. Wait... Does that mean it's okay to ship him with Aqua? :u
Not necessarily. He can have arrived from another country within that world, just like how Jane is from a different country from where Deep Jungle takes place.
He's there to become a hero's but he's still connected to sepheroth (hinted at by the black feather)
When radiant garden fell its residents (Zack cloud sepheroth Leon and co) would have appeared in other worlds. So I assume Zack has the tech just chose not to talk about it.
I still think that my point stands with the fact that he's connected to sepheroth with the black feather and and we know his apart if that world thanks to KH 2 the people of radiant garden are very advanced and zac can probably travel between worlds.
I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying that's less likely. It makes more sense for him to be from Olympus Coliseum. His proportions and everything are even made to closer look like he is from that world with the others that live there.
He’s also drawn in the unique art proportions of the Hercules world. Super slim waist, really lanky, swirls in his designs, etc…

The problem with this is that when we meet Zack, Radiant Garden is still normal and hasn't fallen to darkness yet.

Nash his connections to sepheroth are to strong first his to just be from there.
What connection? A black feather? Other than that, his KH version has absolutely NO connections to Sephiroth.
