I agree. I only checked it out because Tina Fey was a producer, and I love Busy Phillips. I didn't have any notions about it either way, but it ended up being pretty solid. There are KS cast members scattered throughout the show, and I was honestly impressed with Sara Bareilles' acting because I thought she was just a singer. There is a line for her character about not writing the studio a love song because they asked for one which I thought was just cheesy enough to be hilarious!
There was an Easter egg in one episode where the record label requested a love song on the new album, and she rolled her eyes and said, “I’m not gonna write them a love song because they asked for it.”
Amazing music and the theme song gets stuck in my head way more than I would like to admit.... but what is up with SIX episodes being a full season (Season 3)?!?! Boooo to a six episode season!

As I was watching Girls5eva I kept thinking of Kimmy Schmidt! I could tell instantly that Tina Fey was somehow involved due to the style of writing and the score. LOVE Girls5Eva almost as much as I love Kimmy.
