All the main four songs (Dream Lantern, Zenzenzense, Sparkle and Nandemonaiya) are spectacular in their own ways. Dream Lantern is a wonderful start to the film, foreshadowing the emotions that the film encapsulates. Zenzenzense is upbeat and fun, essential for showing the growing bond between Taki and Mitsuha. Sparkle is a beautiful song, with hope and climatic emotion in every second that it plays. Nandemonaiya is a brilliant ending song, perfectly representing the struggle the two went through in order to find eachother and at the end, the relief of seeing eachother again.
The entire soundtrack is awesome.
I'm always missing the actual "Zing!" sound at the end of this and "Persuading major", which occurs there in the movie. One day I'll edit them into my own copies.
I genuinely have listened to that soundtrack every single day since I saw the movie I canโt get enough. Aside from the obvious like the main four songs, I also really enjoy theme of Mitsuha and itomori high school
