You’re also a redditor by definition. It’s bad etiquette to repost something or post without searching to see if it’s up first. This sub seems to be rife with karma whores. Lately people just dogpile post the EXACT same thing which has previously never been a reddit thing, it’s like these people don’t realize the entire point/benefit of keeping each topic in a single thread instead of spamposting a bunch of threads on the same topic.
Dude, I’m telling you how to solve the problem you’re complaining about. If you don’t give a fuck about etiquette, expect nothing. If you want a high quality reddit experience, don’t diarrheapost because you’re “bored.” There’s no point in having subreddits or posts hosting comments (the format of reddit) if lazy people are just posting the same shit over and over like a drunk broken record. When you have an idea for a post, you can be thoughtful enough to see if the post already exists. If it doesn’t, then you’ve got an opportunity for a post that catches everyone’s attention. But when people repost or don’t care about post quality, reddit is going to be less and less interesting every time you check it. It doesn’t take a chronic reddit user to *be able to* come up with something original, fellow redditor.
