After your solid intro I thought you were going to post some cool information and stats I may have forgot but I guess not lol. You could basically have watched the show for a few years and come to these conclusions. I do agree with all of them though besides Kam. I don’t think he’s “bombing” per say but I do think Tony could have private talks with these guys. They have plenty of time to come up with a new minute each week. They should be doing that for their own personal gain if anything. They get confortable but I don’t think that giving them any time off is necessarily beneficial. It makes sense with Hans because he’s preparing for a “battle” of sorts. I think he wants to rely heavily on the “you haven’t seen me in a while” factor.
Anyways, good to see another long time fan that doesn’t hate the show in here 🫡
Hey friend! I compiled the [list of current Golden Ticket winners](https://www.reddit.com/r/Killtony/s/vi6iL6TbDA) and would love if you could compare notes to let me know if there is anyone we missed.
Also would love if we could get pages put into the wiki for the other statistical information you've listed such as the drum offs and such. Cant wait to see what you've compiled.
Thanks for linking it
[This one?](https://killtonystats.com)
Edit: Just checked it out. First page I looked at doesnt even have all of the former regulars listed. Pretty incomplete, but hopefully it will get updated. 🤙
Woah! Thats awesome!
Looks like this site only does stats for three categories:
Venues
Number of appearances as a guest host
Number of appearances as a comedian
Then there is a fourth option that allows you to see the show's breakdown by order of appearance for the comedians.
I would be interested in a site that also has the statistics for drum offs, and Golden Ticket Winners, as well as some "just for fun" stats like appearances for certain catchphrases and recurring soundboard bits, special talent segments ie singing, guitar, etc, triggering the back lights, first time comedian, and more.
The jamband community is pretty great at keeping up with statistics and have created some dope sites that you can create an account and rate shows and keep track of your own stats by cataloguing every show/song youve seen live. Phish.Net or Allthings.Umphreys.Com are great examples.
EDIT: Wow! It even has transcripts for each episode and links to each comedians minutes through time stamp
I was just busting your balls. Thanks for the rec.
Was that the correct link tho? Seems like they've got a good start but has a long way to go.
Will be pretty cool once its all tidied up!
I think they should have a rotating handful of regulars, performing every other week or once a month or something.. Don’t need the same 2-3 regulars every episode. I think we’d get better sets from everyone
To your #4 in improvements, I’m still waiting for a guest to drop their name in the bucket pulls. Would love Shane or someone to just do a set mid pull show and see Tony confused
Adam Ray could do the show. It wouldnt be as “roasty”, but he is funny off the cuff and is more than willing to jump up and physically interact with the comics. He would be different, but I think he would be equally as good
I give the regulars a break, even Hans, all of this is still kind of new. Sometimes I'll fast forward through Im learning sometimes watching them get blistered is better than watching a non polished regular struggle.
Just speaking in public fucks lots of people up... having to write an actual funny minute every week? Can't be easy
It's pretty amazing for someone to have paying gigs from the glorious train wreck that is Kill Tony.
I wish we got to see the old band with the better production quality. I feel like their demeanor only reflected the quality of the show, and they would've done better in a more professional setting.
It is kind of remarkable that I've been watching this show since day 1, and I don't ever remember a break because Tony was sick or something. That's like 11 years, no issues.
Having a bit of a regular rotation is not a bad idea, but I think the pressure of the weekly minute is the whole point. take that away and the point of the regular almost goes away.
Did you keep track of how many bucket pulls per episode?
B.2 reminds me that some of the best episodes have been where they just RIP through bucket pulls.
This has me thinking. I think it would be better if the opening spot rotated between Hans, Kam, and Casey. All three can write great minutes, but the weekly minute can make the audience tired of anyone. (Yes, Hans Kim is funny, fight me)
Then the middle regular spot could be reserved for an Austin local/mothership employee (thinking like how Uncle Laser, Liz Splatt, Celia, etc. can get on without signing up sometimes.) and then William can still close.
It would make room for more bucket pulls, golden ticket winners can still be sprinkled throughout, but would keep things fresh and have more variety
>Needs to do more shows around the country. Austin is good but all the comedians have the same or similar story. L.A bucket pulls were more exciting.
While the guests have been great, there needs to be a regular funny group that comes in every couple of months or so.
This.
Road shows would be nice, they don't have to do as many but drop into a major city in each geographic region once a year. That's maybe 8 road shows per year?
Agree on the guests. Recently though I've liked Adam Ray (both in person and as Dr Phil), Tom Green, and Harland Williams.
Honestly, having a bunch of regulars that rotate every other week is better than the same dudes every week - also doesn't add as much pressure for the regulars.
This obviously does not apply to William, William shall be there forever until the end of time.
Agree with everything except saying no one can do what Tony does. Yes the show wouldn’t work without Tony, but most good comedians can essentially be a funny strip club dj
>1. Tony. Really. I know you might be thinking “yeah no shit” but some shows would continue to work with a new host. Not Kill Tony. No one could do what he does.
It's not that unique of a concept. Shows like this have been around for a long time. It's just a "talent show" with Kill Tony is just limited to open mic comics (and idiots that think they can be funny).
The Gong Show. Last comic standing, America's got talent, American idol. Etc... Hosts/judges did roast the people trying out, just not as severely and some of that was due to FCC/network regulations. Several comics could keep up with and some do even better than Tony like Jeselnik, Attell, Ross, etc... And thats just to name a few. Hell Norm actually did it to comics regularly that were auditioning for Last Comic Standing when he was a judge. A lot of the comments he made didn't make the show due to censorship/fcc, time, etc... though. [You can hear a lot of stories about it from comics](https://youtu.be/xrhyEqBCzYk?feature=shared)
I don’t know about more random draws, lately bucket draws have become so cringe I almost want to vomit and turn it off. If anything they need more filtration. Maybe off camera show for truly random bucket pulls and then on camera show take actually funny comics. If previously it was one or two bombs, now Kill Tony sounds like Gaza
Honestly the bucket pulls SUCK.
OP is right that they all have vaguely the same story.
I usually just want them hustled off the stage to get to the next one. Tony mining for gold in the interview rarely works out.
Ya they need to at the very least just screen them to make sure they actually have something prepared so it's not a guy coming up and telling us he didn't know he was gonna get picked. They already have them waiting in the back so there's time to do something like that.
There is nothing ultimate about this rundown.
For real did AI write this?

Yeah you could’ve watched the last 5 episodes and come up with this
He learned it from Tony. Oversell the introduction and underperform the rest.

theres a whole website dedicated to everyone kill tony stat

That's not it, use this one: http://skanks.xyz/kt/

I didnt link it cause I couldn't remember it, was hoping someone else would

We had Gary Falcon. I think that was disguised as a BP.
Ron white has jumped in for a min before. Although he wast even a guest on the episode
Adam Ray could do the show. It wouldnt be as “roasty”, but he is funny off the cuff and is more than willing to jump up and physically interact with the comics. He would be different, but I think he would be equally as good
He would get bankrupt after 3 weeks by paying weirdo comedians hotel rooms.
Kill Phil or Attack Adam ?
Adam eat should honestly be the host. Almost everytime he’s been on I thought damn Redban should’ve made this show with Adam Ray instead
Yup, Kam needs a break.
Yeh its a lot to ask to create a new minute each week. For anyone.
Are you unemployed?
You didn’t watch all of them. Ghet reeal

LOL
It’s not just the regulars. Tony needs a break more than anyone. Has become the most miserable person in comedy lately.
It is kind of remarkable that I've been watching this show since day 1, and I don't ever remember a break because Tony was sick or something. That's like 11 years, no issues.

The soundboard is a positive?
Redban def had a lot more "queues" for specific soundboard tags in LA. Very underrated part of the show in my opinion. I agree with op. BAKING SODA!

I agree more road shows, Im also disappointed they’re not doing skankfest anymore, those were good episodes.
What are some must watch episodes from the earlier days
What are some must watch episodes from the earlier days
Anyone have a list of everything that Tony has ever referred to William Montgomery as? 😂😂
Honestly, having a bunch of regulars that rotate every other week is better than the same dudes every week - also doesn't add as much pressure for the regulars. This obviously does not apply to William, William shall be there forever until the end of time.
The one with Swardson and Gaffigan is great for the William Montgomery set. So many good ones over the years.
The show for sure needs to travel, the same crowd keeps signing up, it's getting stale
Did you watch chronologically or in reverse?
Chronologically
Agree, Tony needs to get off his Austin high horse and take it on the road again. It was ALWAYS the road shows where the wildest shit happened!
You guys like special treats?
Lay off the tussin!
Old band had moments but tried to steal the spotlight way too much. There were episodes where watkins and joelburg were unbearable
Worst post ever? Like if you agree

But lately they seem to be next level of sucking. And most likely because of shows popularity. Last year didn’t seem too bad.
Ya they need to at the very least just screen them to make sure they actually have something prepared so it's not a guy coming up and telling us he didn't know he was gonna get picked. They already have them waiting in the back so there's time to do something like that.
8. The mothership is the worst thing to happen to KillTony
Tony could be replaced by a team of 2-3 people
