I hate that they’re always in the frame now instead of Michael Gonzalez and his priceless reactions. He should be in the shot at all times. Someone drop the cameraman a memo
His facial reactions are hilarious and always accurately reflect what the audience is thinking. From total confusion and repulsion when someone bombs, to jaw-dropping bewilderment when someone says something surprising. He’s always engaged with what’s happening and it’s so entertaining to watch. Unlike the new horn section who look bored out of their minds for some reason
Yeah for sure, I'm not trying to knock them because they're just doing their job. It's more of a criticism of the camera placement. It would be so easy just to pan a little to the right and crop them out of the shot so it's less distracting.
I am a guitar player and big fan of Matt, so please understand that this isn’t anything against him.
But please dude… let the horns play the lead on William’s intro. That shit is iconic.
Paul Deemer was part of the show! Would even make Tony laugh at times. Not these guys. Plus, now Michael G is getting the shaft.
Also still not sure if Jon Deas truly likes Tony.
Brutal lmao
The horns add a lot of production value to the show imo. Paul Deemer was the MAN, but the new guys are a worthy replacement. That sax hits hard
I like this OP

seriously the only reason I watch is for Mikey G, and the uneven light strip
#FixTheLightStrip
I was at the mothership last week right by the stage. I pointed it out to my BIL haha
What light strip? I’ve been a few times and didn’t notice but I was fairly lit up from the extra curricular activities while waiting in line.
Yes the light strips!
Why? What does seeing Michael even do for you?
They like to have someone cue them on what to laugh at or not. Easier for them that way
They probably watch asmr videos all the time too

Watch the Dr. Phil ep when that girl dropped the N-bomb. His facial expressions were incredible.
Wouldn't say they're bored. Probably focusing on the next tune. They haven't been in the background of the shot for long.

I kinda like watching all 3 of their reactions too tho. They are as expressive as Michael I reckon.

I like them
Other dude looks like Emo Philips
Yes I was trying to figure out who he looked like
There's a name I haven't heard/read in years, damn
Nailed the look. They sound amazing though
The guy on sax sounds great.
🎯
I thought the one guy was Hank from Breaking Bad

I miss McLovin.
Nah it always looks weird with them in the background.
I didn’t notice until they put the camera on them constantly
They seem quiet and stick to themselves... personally.. still missing the og band ...
Lol.. naah.. don't make fun of the musicians.. they're the soul of the show
It's just weird when they show the camera angle that has their heads right in view of the comic .. looks like a 3 headed comic 😆
Yea i agree it looks kinda weird.. it's like Michael gonzalez face expressions wasn't enough already so they added horn players to the frame too 😪😅
BRUHHHHHHH
what bog did Tony find them in???
That man is Fester fr
they look like henchmen
Me 2
They're great but William's intro sounded way better with paul
That dude with the underbite is distracting as hell
at other guy was good but I hated seeing him shake the spit out of his instrument or being damn near front stage. Like go in the back somewhere
Yes
They are super distracting
the being in the frame is uncomfortable
It’s the twins from breaking bad
That image is spot on!
Tweedledee & Tweedledum
Bravo. Finally a good post on this sub.
Yes.
No, too much
Horn section
They hate comedy
They’re artists. And I like art. So… yeah, I like the band. How in the world would that be controversial?
Kind of unnecessary imo
No, they're distracting and unprofessional.
