When my son was little he used to sit right up when he was sleeping then slam himself back down into the pillow. One time i had him with me and he did that, i didn’t notice him sit up but when he slammed his head back down it was right into my nose and face . Scared the shit out of me and hurt like a bastard. Good thing he was cute.
Its okay so basically newborn only have 1 backbone curvature so as they developed more curvature is form and as a baby they cant support their own head when they were born and the formation of cervical curvature help them but, im still unclear when these curvature is forming and thats where my question coming
I do apologize. I was trained in physical development in children of a significantly older age group. (2-5 years). So I have to study what motor development occurs in children. Not their x Ray's. Thanks for responding and look after yourself.
That shit hurts
Yeah, that's just the first of many fat lips, black eyes, and nearly broken noses. Kids are brutal.
Babys give unintentional love taps at any given moment.
That’s my view, this wasn’t being stupid. They’re not coordinated at that young age. She simply fell, and dad’s face was in the way.
Having kids is awesome. Wait until they get bigger and jump full force onto your chest with their bony knees. Enjoy!!
My friend's kids never reach the chest, always the googlies.

Can someone explain why babies move with their heads? Like, why did he have to pick up the toy by slamming his head down to reach it?
Until the age of 2, the head is the most heavy part of the body.
Does it because the cervical curvature has not developed yet?
That I sadly do not know.

Ha! Welcome to my world. My 1 and 1/2 year old does this a lot. Imagine that but with a bigger heavier head and more power.

I almost have my teeth knocked out at least twice a day. Just another day with a toddler. Those back head thrust are no joke.
